This was the first James Last DVD that I bought and it's been well played! The setting is a concert in the town of Bayreuth, Germany, at the end of 2000.

Derek Watkins' trumpet solo on 'My Way' is simply fantastic and seeing Jochen Ment playing the bandoneon for 'Have you ever really loved a woman?' is a moving experience, because he died 3 years later.

My son's favourite title is 'Hip Hop Polka' - accompanied by James Last jumping around like he's at an aerobics class - not bad, considering he was 71 at the time!

Musically, this DVD is what you would expect from the James Last Orchestra: Great rhythm, wonderful strings and brilliant brass. Also, look out for some great saxophone work from Matthias Clasen.

I think it says in the bible that the last will be first. Well then if this is the first James Last album you have bought believe you me young fellow me lad it won't indeed be your last, so your first last will not be your last last because when it comes to that great race we call music, then the first will be last, and not last when it came to giving out the talent, oh yes indeed first last my everything , maybe I should have thought this one out a bit first, last, its gotten a bit mixed up
