Les be frank... this is a pool of excellence........2006-11-01
I picked up this DVD direct from Club Bastardo (Offical Primus on-line store) upon it's release late 2005, and i have to say it's been a reguler visitor in my DVD player ever since.
In it's entirity, it's journey through the brilliant mind of Sir Les, chaptering each of his non-Primus projects chronologically (from Sausage to Bucket of Bernie Brains via Frog Brigade, Oysterhead and Holy Mackral...Phew!)
The bulk of the footage is made up from various live performances, (some raw, some excellent in quality) The pinnical of which is a fantasic selection of Frog Brigade live performances from an outdoor show (Whamola, Long In The Tooth, and David Makalaster)
Throw into the mix, documentry footage, promo vids, etc, etc... It's quite clear see how Mr Claypool will be talked about with the same respect given to the late Frank Zappa.
3 1/2 hours of les!!!!.......2006-08-15
i think this is pretty much all the footage of les claypool's solo and side project work. There are loads of music video's and loads of live performances and some oddities that include les in two episodes of a fishing programme(that really is quite interesting to watch)and three guys named schmo (les has a bass off with classical bass player rob wasserman it's pretty awesome). all in all this is the ultimate les claypool dvd. Well worth it!!!!
Primed Up!.......2006-02-14
The Primus front man Les Claypool reveals the other projects he's been involved with besides the excellent Primus.
During this concert footage he plays with music greats such as Bernie Worral, BucketHead, Stewart Copeland (drummer from the Police)and numerous others.
This DVD is a must for any Primus fan and an eye opener to any Bass player looking to Les Claypool for inspiration.
Seriously Heavy Funk Rock Metal Madness!!!?

Buy for the 1970 Doing Their Thing Alone.......2007-05-09
Excellent DVD features
The one and only Status Quo, Recorded in 2002 features Live versions of Quo classics and a few tracks from the then New Heavy Traffic album.
Doing Their Thing is next, this is actually from Granada TV in 1970. Features an early version of Roadhouse blues, Hit single Down the Dustpipe and 3 tracks from the Ma Kellys Greasy Spoon Album. Spinning Wheel blues and Is It Really Me/Gotta Go Home. This last track lasts for 9 Minuites and Was a forerunner of the lenghty forty five hundred times Quo would play in the 70s and 80s. The dvd is worth the price for this programe alone.
The German 1982 concert is Very good similar to the 1982 NEC concert but the sound occasionaly flutters.
finaly we have the 2002 TOTP special whilst good the BBC had francis and Rick talking over the songs
