Roy Orbison's widow Barbara has put a lot of thought and effort into packaging compilations of his work and there is a wide selection available now, so you may want to visit his offical website and peruse what's available before deciding what to buy, but one thing is for certain; you cannot go wrong with this particular DVD. It has a great selection of concert tracks from various stages in his career, then when you switch to the special features you find almost a whole disk's worth of video and audio extras. There are even original and remastered versions of one audio ("An Empty Cup"), for comparison. So it is a great DVD for the serious collector as well as a perfect introduction for those new to Orbison.

Between tracks, Roy says a few words about each song. He comes across as personable, modest and sensitive.

Spandau at the top of their game.......2005-08-22

In these days when groups like Duran Duran are reforming with great success, it's a shame that Spandau Ballet haven't done the same. It's probably understandable why they haven't due to the much publicised bad feeling between some of the members of the group and if there's one thing that would make people want them to reform then it would have to be this DVD.

I remember seeing this concert as a "Tube" special in the 1980's, and now it's been lovingly restored by Gary and Martin Kemp, with the latest picture and sound techbnology and all in all is a fantastic package. The band were filmed mid-way through a 10 month tour and are firing on all cylinders and are full of energy and enthusiasm. The songs included are mostly well known hits, and the performances are amazing. On top of that the filming and editing are second to none. Shown through a proper home cinema set up this really gives you the feeling of "being there"!

I'm not a crazy, obsessed fan and they are by no means my favourite group, but I appreciated good music and a good package and this is one of the finest DVD's I have bought in a long time. Buy it now!
