I think this is the only Monkees live concert DVD about and for that reason alone it deserves the 5 stars.
I've seen the band live 4 times over the years, with various combinations of members, thoroughly enjoyed every single minute and longed in vein for a DVD so I can enjoy the show all over again at home. This DVD certainly goes a long way to fulfilling my wish. The only negative comment I'll make is that too much has been cut out. All the big songs are there, brilliantly performed, but the lesser known ones haven't been included and neither has some of the comedy banter - all carefully scripted, I know, but still really funny and worth including, I think.
However, this is a really good opportunity to get the feel of the Monkees if you aren't familiar with them and an excellent memento for those of us lucky enough to have enjoyed them live. Fingers crossed they tour again before we're all to old!!

This is an excellent dvd showcasing a brilliant concert by Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones and Peter Tork which turned out to be Peters last before he left. It is funny and full of all the songs we know and love. A must for any Monkee fan. The comedy and chemistry from the 60s is relived here in a rare recorded concert. Recommended for all.

This is The Monkees at their best.
Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones sing their greatest hits and more with the added bonus of interviews and comedy to go with it.
It's a must for Monkees fans and people who would like to find out what they have been missing.
This is The Monkees first live concert on dvd but it's well worth the wait.
