This is a really good double DVD package featuring a superb Rush concert in Germany. Sound and picture quality are superb and the gig is filmed really well. The set list covers Rush both ancient and modern and includes a number of classic rock covers (e.g. 'The Seeker', 'Summertime Blues' and 'Crossroads'). The second disc features interviews and concert footage from the Rush archives (plus Easter Eggs!). This is a must for any Rush fan and a solid addition to any rock fan's concert DVD collection. Highly recommended.

Can only concur with all reviews so far. I saw this on my friends 37" Plasma TV in Dolby 5.1 and it looked and sounded incredible. About as close to actually being there as it's possible to be.

The sound and picture quality are both excellent as well as being very well shot with plenty of close ups of Neil Peart's astounding drumming. The guys may be starting to get on in years but their fine musical prowess has not diminished and are still one of Rock's premier bands on this showing. I have been a Rush fan since the early years so it was great to see the old stuff being included as well as classic rock covers like Crossroads and The Seeker.

If you are a Rush fan, then it's an absolute must have DVD.

This awesome DVD captures Rush at their finest. From the fantastic 5 song segway intro to the old classics as the encores, this is a must not only for Rush fans but for muso's too.The sound and picture quality are out of this world and the interviews are superb. Go out and buy it just for the drum solo!!!

There is very little to add to what other reviewers have already said, except that this DVD is surely the one by which all other music DVDs should now be measured.
Having seen two of the UK shows on the R30 tour I was desperate to see the band bring out a visual record of the concerts, which were absolutely stunning, and they did not disappoint.

I thought that Rush in Rio would take some beating but they have once again raised the bar.

Let's hope that reports of previous video-only releases (Grace Under Pressure and Exit Stage Left) soon to be issued on DVD are true.

I deliberately avoided the Deluxe version of this, I can live without the picks and the backstage passes....what can they be worth personally if you did not collect them at a gig. I've probably got enough live Rush CD's too. I was a little concerned that maybe this was a DVD too far as well.

I needn't have worried. Excluding medleys there are only seven songs on this DVD that were on the Rush in Rio set and it's great to see classics like Between the Wheels, Subdivisions and Red Barchetta get an airing. Overall the sound is different to '...Rio,' less bassy, a little less heavy, but a bit more crisp and sharper. Lets face it every album Rush release has a different production and, as with those releases, a few tracks into the show it just seems right.

The Drum solo's great as usual, but he mesmerises throughout the whole set.

The filming is great too, you don't miss a thing, catching all the band members at the right moments. The energy level seems high too so there's never a dull moment....and they do this without having to flash between different shots every second which some DVD's are prone to do.

With about 19 songs dropped from the '...Rio' gig it's not many bands that can play a gig and leave you without feeling like youv'e been robbed and Rush must be near the top of that list.

I got this DVD for christmas 2004, and i love the concert to bits, the best i have ever seen Sum 41 play. I would advise anbody who likes rock music to get this DVD, and if your a Sum 41 fan, you should have it allready.

after purchasing this DVD last chrismtas i found myself watching it again this christmas and realised,compared to my other music DVDS this DVD has the best picture and sound quality out of the lot,and considering i have the foo fighters dvd,New Found Glorys,Reel Big Fish,Goldfingers DVD then it shows how good it is.

I never knew Sum 41 rocked so well! This live performance must have been one of their best, I would of loved to go to it. But I must settle for this DVD.

Most live performances sound naff when recorded, but this actually sounded really good.

If you like Sum 41, then you will love this DVD!

As a Massive Sum41 fan, you'll find i'd go bonkers on seeing a new DVD released (this is Sum41's second DVD by the way). The DVD features an amazing concert from Tokyo where you'll find all your favorite songs. The rest of the DVD feature some videos of them in Japan, some Promotional Videos and some Music Videos of "Still waiting" and "Over my head". Its a essential DVD for a fan of Sum41, but if it were to feature more extras then its would be essential to all. But as it is now, its some good stuff!

This is the best music DVD I have ever bought, they sound better live than they do on the cd. Every track is played to perfection and its just easy to watch over and over again. If you are a sum41 fan get this DVD if not buy it anyway cos it rules!!!!!
