Tired Voice.......2008-01-22
Why on earth was this concert DVD ever released? Suzi's voice has completely given up on her. Should have recorded a concert earlier on in tour.
GREAT ROCK SHOW.......2005-04-05
The only thing that disappointed me is that this dvd is...too short!
GREAT Quatro live performace. 'Rock Hard' is better live than the studio version; the 'Can The Can' intro, where Quatro plays drum solo, is fantastic and this only, worth the price of this dvd.
Very good version of: 'She's in love with you', 'Stumblin'in'.
The Quatro' BASS SOLO, also is GOOD, very good.
This a real live concert, with real players and nothing has been changed in studio, like it happens in many live shows put in cd or dvd.
It's a dvd for people who like real rock. It is worth the price!
At last! Suzi Q on DVD.......2004-11-09
I watched it... sitting, like a kid, on the floor, in front of the TV.
Hats off to Victory Tischler Blue for her work: from the backstage parts at the beginning to the end credits I thought it was flawless (except from some strangely out of sync parts). I love the footage in black and white and the old videos syncronised to the new, live version of the songs...To be honest I was dreading to see "just another live show" so I'm pleased with the camera work and the additions. By "Rock Hard" I had picked up my bass and was playing along so I was obviously
enjoying the music as well! The only song I hate on the DVD is "if you can't give me love" but of course that is just my personal taste: I really hate that song! ;-)
The "Oldie Night" sign in the background didn't bother me at all... as for Gaynor and Lynn (the backing singers), mmm, I remember seeing them in 1983 and they were great but to be honest, I think that the best backing singers/dancers Suzi ever used were Rhiannon and Dee... as she can't have them again, I think she should stick to the "beefy" voices of the boys..
Not quite sure about the phone call bewteen Suzi and Vicki.. Suzi
went on for too long for it to sound spontaneous but hey, it's only my opinion.
"Why do Rainbows Die": not one of my favourite songs, especially at the beginning, before she starts singing but I actually enjoyed the video... that scenery matches perfectly with the music.
Suzi Quatro: haven't seen her for a few years now but man, she still rocks and looks great!! woohoooo!
The only critic to the DVD? I would have loved more backstage footage and of course I would have loved to sit in front of the TV for far longer than 47 minutes
Leather Nives (Forever.. hahaha!)
Suzi is still No:1 - but why this production - 4 fans only.......2004-10-15
filmed in germany 2003
I saw this tour at its beginning on the Central Coast of NSW Australia - it was, she was better than ever, I saw her in the 70's late 80's she not only still has she is better than ever BUT this must be towards the end of the tour because Suzi's voice is tired and it shows, the crowd well compared to the one I went to is quite lame.I can't believe Sacred Dogs Productions allowed it to go on market its could be and should be better but none the less Suzi is still the queen!
Intro - wild one - rock hard - tear me apart - she's in love with you - stumblin in - 48 crash - glycerine queen - can the can - devil gate drive - if you cant give me love - tribute to mickey most and her new video (not a very good a video production at that)
I love Suzi but the music powers that be have not done her justice - rock on little suzi
