what a great show-two fab artists on the stage........2008-01-06
read the 2 reviews-decided to go with the unbiased one-thanks for that,because we really enjoyed the dvd, both pete cox and tony hadley were fantastic,although it says "vs"each other the two of them sing a good few numbers together- its no competition-here are two guys that enjoy each others company,and enjoy singing together.The conbined list has old favourites like "boys of summer" to "suspicious minds"-and if you loved the "king of wishful thinking" the first time round, it will still feel the same when you hear these guys perform it years later! other numbers are "call me" and a great version of "addicted to love"-how anyone could find fault with this dvd beggars belief-this is one of the best dvds we have ever had.
Good show but watch out for Tony!!!.......2005-03-03
Thanks to TV show 'Reborn in the USA', Peter Cox (& Go West) went on tour with ex Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley in 2004. This DVD covers a concert from that tour (Manchester's Bridgewater Hall) that boasts very good sound & video quality and a few Special Features by way of Interviews with those involved.
Having been a Go West fan myself, it was good to see them perform some of their old songs, and Peter Cox's soulful voice complements most of the cover material he covers here. The band are all excellent musicians too.
Tony Hadley however is another matter. Due to his infamous bust-up with the Kemp brothers, he is unable to perform any Spandau Ballet songs, so we must endure a selection of songs which, regardless of their artistic merit, are murdered by Tony's desire to sound like Frank Sinatra. He sings in key and has quite a powerful voice, but sounds (and looks) like a middle age pub singer (or lounge act!) that's starting to go to seed. The interviews do nothing to change that image either. Sorry Tony, you may be a diamond geezer, but you ain't fun to watch or listen to. Not for me anyway.
I wish them well though, but can't help wishing Peter had chosen his mates more carefully when he was a pop star back in the 80s. Nik Kershaw or Howard Jones perhaps!

The buzz on stage between Tony and Pete was electric and it came over on stage and on the DVD - these guys are best of mates and it shows. The concert was great, they can both still sing the songs that made them famous with the same amount of passion, can still hold those notes! The interviews really personal. If you are / were a fan of either of these two then I highly recommend a great DVD...it's just like being there in person.

Learning Golf the easy way.......2006-06-29
This dvd is so easy to watch and learn. If you know nothing at all about golf then start here with this dvd.
Lessons from a pro obviously help but I have learnt so much from this. Donna White shows you in very easy terms how to play the game and my instructor was amazed at how much I knew after only 3 lessons with him.
Very good value and service.
