A superb interpretation of a concert with Heep.......2001-03-11

The quality of the recording is superb.Camera angles capture the audience participation perfectly and at times you feel as if you are on stage with the band.You can certainly feel the camaraderie between the band. This is a must for Heep fans old and new. The secret track is a black and white recording in Germany of Come Away Melinda from their VERY first album.(Very 'eavy,Very 'umble)Bernie Shaw's voice and Mick Box's acoustic guitar allied to the black and white quality recording just make this a blinder of a track. Rain in the main concert also stands out as Bernies vocals sound beautiful with the softer songs. I'm sure that there is some interesting things for the newcomer but some gold for the old.Listen to the build up on Sweet Freedom for example..I had forgotten how good it was. I have been a fan for 19 years but not an anorak.This DVD and the busy year Heep have had returned me to knowing why I love this band. The musicianship is just awesome.

If you look REALLY hard you might see me in the audience. Loud and Proud. No sleep with Uriah Heep.

"From the earlier screening"... We are STUNNED by the quality of the visual aspect of the DVD, not to mention the performance of the band ! The songs ,sounds and visuals are spectacular, and it really is something to behold. We were privy to the showing of the full DVD release and it's as good as you can hope for. It's chock full of dynamite graphics, and of the band in full concert mode....simply fantastic !

...and the sound...the SOUND of the concert was mixed and mastered by non-other than Pip Williams (Sonic Origami), and it truly captures URIAH HEEP LIVE !

As Mick Box says in one of the many interviews of the band during the DVD:

" It's a very honest album...and if you want Honest Rock and Roll, Uriah Heep is your band "

Excellent performances, excellent sound and visuals, and a true feeling of Uriah Heep, at their finest, mark the sensation behind this DVD.

Covering some of the classics, and much of the newest material, there are surely some suprises in there for all Heepfans. It's the best music from the best, longest lineup from Heep, and leaves you with "Tears in Your Eyes", and begging for more.
