Fabulous!.......2004-11-13
I was at this concert, filmed on 25th June 1995. It was my first Bon Jovi gig and it was amazing.
To be in Wembly Stadium with 72,000 other people all going wild for one band was a fantastic experience and this DVD just brings back all those wonderful memories.
A fantastic set-list with some of the great songs on it, I was only a little disappointed to find that there were no extra songs on the DVD compared to the original video release. I was hoping that there would be some extra songs on there, particularly the guest appearance from Bob Geldof to sing "I Don't Like Mondays".
Still it's worth having just to witness the mastery Bon Jovi has on the crowd and to get the feel of a band that is at its best in front of a large audience.
The actual show was better.......2004-03-17
I love everything Bon Jovi and I actually won a radio competition to go and see them at Wembley back in '97. So I rushed to buy this DVD hoping to spot myself by the stage but I was distracted by the short setlist - and the whole atmosphere which was pumping the crowd just isn't there. It's a good DVD but it could (and should) be better. If you want my advice buy it to see the band sing a few songs but don't buy it if you're hoping to catch just a small piece of that incredible day.
It just isn't there.
Bon Jovi - Live From London.......2003-12-28
Normally I'd rant and rave about how brilliant the item in question is but on this occasion there's no need.
Some say they're pop or cheese rock, fine by me but it's still one of the greatest live acts in the world performing in the most famous stadium in the world.
Bon Jovi + Wembley + 72,000 People = Classic.
You know I'm talking about, buy it. 'Nuff said.
Bon Jovi Rocks Wembley.......2003-09-23
Given that this concert was filmed in 1995 and has only recently been released on DVD, it gives a pretty good impression of one of the world's finest stadium rock acts. Back in 1995, Bon Jovi were at the height of their fame with the single "Always" riding high in the charts and played 3 consecutive sell out concerts at Wembley. Whilst the sound quality isn't quite as good as The Crush Tour DVD, it's still a lot better than the VHS version that was available up until now. Extras are pretty minimal but that seems to be the norm with DVDs of older recordings. Well worth checking out though - the performance by the band is a tight as ever and is a good complement to The Crush Tour DVD in any fan's collection.
Bon Jovi slam dunks Wembley Stadium, London.......2003-09-03
New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi have been kicking serious butt in many stadiums around the world since their early media success from Slippery when Wet. The 3-date(extended) shows played over a Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July 1995 had a capacity 72,000 crowd moving along to infectious rock tunes and power ballads. This show was recorded from the Sunday performance and includes a list of high tempo hit songs like "Living On A Prayer," "You Give Love A Bad Name," "Bad Medicine" as well as later tunes like "Keep The Faith" and "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead". On a positive note, the set list played is undoubtedly faultless, however the dvd does not reflect this and unfortunately therefore loses marks for it's lack-lustre offering with some major flaws. First off, half of the songs are missing! including some critical omissions like "Blood On Blood," "I'll Be There For You," "Runaway" and "Bed Of Roses". The concert run time is edited down to a mere 1hr 22mins with the remaining footage left on the cutting room floor. Added to this, the audio soundtrack is in basic stereo 2.0 which struggles to achieve the more powerful ambient DD 5.1. However, the vocals and instruments do come across reasonably well, it's the all round concert feeling which is truly absent here. The only bonus feature included is the video to "These Days" which plays out to the closing credits. With so much disc space left available, it's hard to justify why these decisions have been made prior to it's release. As a true Bon Jovi fan, the video would be a must purchase for the stunning show and price, others may wish to check out the later "Crush Tour" dvd.

Look mum that's me at the front!.......2004-07-16
Bon Jovi are one of my favourite bands of all time, so this review is biased, but this is one of *the* best concerts I've ever seen Bon Jovi perform, the atmosphere that hot Sunday night at the old Wembley Stadium in London was electric. The scintillating set is captured wonderfully by the VHS video (which is also now available on DVD for better quality).
All the classics plus some of there new material from the time the concert was performed. If you love Bon Jovi this is an absolute must for your collection!

I was there - London 1995.......2000-12-22
Watch the first five minutes of this video and you can imagine being in the crowd - awaiting the best rock band to perform for over 2 hours in the world's greatest concert venue - I was there!! They say memories last forever, but if you have a video to support them - all the better! This video is excellent, captured all the best moments of the concert, except Jon's duet with Bob Geldof - shame that wasn't in it!! For all those who like Bon Jovi this video is a perfect tribute to the best stadium rock band!! The only thing better is to be at the concert yourself! It shows all the best songs from across the albums and the band performs them superbly! A definite thumbs up for the band on a great concert and a video to remember it by!
