A Decade of Memorable and Quality Music.......2007-06-24
"Oh My God!" I couldn't stop watching this DVD once I got it. Celine is so spectacular, and this DVD sure does show it! I love all the old videos, "new" videos, and live performances! Who says teenage guys can't LOVE Celine?
Here's my run-down:
1. Program start: This is just a short "into" clip. About 30 seconds long. Short and sweet.
2. The Power of Love (Music Video):
I may not be "your lady," but I bet after seeing this video, and hearing this song, every guy wants to be Celine's "man." It's so amazing. She hits the high notes perfectly.
3. If You Asked Me To (Music Video):
This may be an old vid, but it's so great! Celine looks so beautiful, and the video made me feel as if I were in a dream. Great job!
4. Misled (Music Video):
Okay, maybe the video was kind of..."so, so." The song has kind of like a "funky" beat to it. Not what we're used to from Celine. But it's something different, and we don't hear it all the time. And if it was a single, then it's gotta be good, right? Nice job.
5. Beauty and the Beast (duet with Terry Bradford) [LIVE]:
If it's a Disney song, then ya know it's great! Trust me; this is the song you want to be stuck in your head all day. It's live and from the "Falling Into You" concert, in Memphis. Not bad Celine, not bad at all.
6. Because You Loved Me [LIVE]:
No, it's not the music video. But it's just as good, (maybe even a little better). I LOVE this song. It's so pure. Celine... you know what we want. Thanks.
7. It's All Coming Back To Me Now [Single Version] (Music Video):
Now here's a side of Celine we don't see often. WOW! This video blew me away. So amazing! I loved it from the start till the end. Uh... what can ya say? It's G-R-E-A-T!
8. Love Can Move Mountains (Music Video):
I know everyone loves this song! It just makes you want to get up and dance, and just have a good time. And when you look beyond the fun, it has an outstanding message! Great song, fun video, positive message... what more can you ask for?
9. To Love You More (feat. Taro Hakase) [LIVE]:
A hit not only in Japan, but all over the world! Celine knows what she's doing! This song is amazing, and even features a very special guest! This is a wonderful performance!
10. My Heart Will Go On (Love Theme from Titanic) (Music Video):
Okay! Now you cannot get any bigger than Titanic! Oh, yes you can, just have a hit show in Las Vegas! This video is AMAZING! Celine is sooo beautiful in her dress, and I know everyone's head this song, and I know everyone LOVES it! No matter you are!
11. I'm Your Angel (duet with R. Kelly) (Music Video):
WOW! This is such a pure song, and is just so inspirational! Celine, doing her best as always, and a side of R. Kelly we hardly ever see. Just so heavenly!
12. That's the Way It Is (Music Video):
Seems almost impossible! Celine is so down-to-earth in this video. It's like she's one of us! We all love her, and we'll love her even more after this! I promise!
13. If Walls Could Talk (Music Video):
This is one of my most favorite video of ALL TIME! How can you pass this by! I cried when I saw this video! The setting is so calm and peaceful, Celine looks gorgeous, and song is so soothing! Bravo Celine, bravo!
14. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (From the "All The Way... A Decade of Song" CBS-TV Special) [LIVE]:
This is one of the songs that you'll wish you could only do, but Celine is the only one who can do it. Such a dreamy song. It just fades you away, and lets you know that your tribulations are for just a day. You'll just fade into this lovely balled.
15. All the Way (duet with Frank Sinatra) [LIVE]:
Ahhh... wonderful. A love song that can't get any better. And only Celine can sing it like Frank Sinatra. This is one of the BEST songs of all time... All the way.
16. Then You Look at Me (Music Video):
I love it! Celine performs this song, in a way that no other could, or can ever reach! This video is so cool! It has a mystery about it, the kind that makes me get chills every time I see it! Oh gosh! Just spectacular!
17. I Want You to Need Me (Music Video):
This is such a beautiful music video! Is that beach in there real? It looks gorgeous, and... If only I could have been there with Celine. I just adore this video!
18. Live For The One I Love (Music Video):
This video is sort of like in a dream, that you never want to wake up from. It just absolutely takes you away to a land where everything may just be perfect. This video... better than a dream.
BONUS VIDEO: It's All Coming Back to Me Now (stereo mix - long version) (Music Video):
Same review as #7, only longer, with added scene.
Over all, this DVD is as PERFECT as it get! Surly a prize you won't regret winning.
Disappointing.......2002-11-20
As an avid Celine fan of many years, I was ecstatic when I found this music video compilation. Having seen all of Celine's concerts and heard all of her albums, I was fully aware of her magnetic charm, charisma, personality and singing ability, and expected them to be conveyed beautifully onto this video. I was disappointed. There are 18 songs on the video - the lyrics of which are all hauntingly beautiful. But I'd already seen 5 of these on Celine's "Live in Memphis" and "CBS Live" concert videos. As for the other 13...Celine appears wooden and lifeless on those such as "I Want You To Need Me" and "Live", where she expressionlessly mouths the words in scenery which has absolutely nothing to do with the songs. A classic example of this is the video of "It's All Coming Back To Me" - one of my very favourite Celine songs. What's going on in the video does not match the words and passion of the song. I know without doubt that Celine is a brilliant performer, with a lively personality and wit, so the blame for these dull, lifeless videos lies ultimately with their directors. I would recommend this video only to die hard Celine fans who have seen all her concert videos - otherwise I would recommend you to buy "Live in Memphis" - a truly stunning video which captures fully Celine's beauty and rare talent.
A long awaited release from the lady herself.......2002-02-09
I was beside myself when i came across this absolute gem in london. The line up was fine, although i am still a little miffed that all her classics weren,t on board. Like "Tell Him", "All By Myself" etc. It could have easily been a double disk. But i quickly forgot all of this when i saw she had done us the honour of shooting brand new videos just for the dvd, and might i say what a mighty fine job she done to. All in all a fine collection with fantastic sound and visual quality showing everyone once more just how magnificent this woman really is.
A must have video for Celine Dion fans........2002-01-28
A well put together Video of classic Celine Dion songs, spanning her years as a top class performer. I was however disappointed to find that the song All the Way, with Frank Sinatra was not featured on the Video, albeit that the title of the Video was, All the Way - a decade of song. Still a must have music video from one of the finest female singers in the world.
A Must Buy.......2001-12-30
After being a Celine Dion fan for many years its so great she has finaly released a video containing all her hits on one video collection.
This video contains songs like "The Power Of Love" "All By Myself" and her last hit "Thats The Way It is" This video has live versions too featuring the voice of Terry Bradford singing "Beauty & The Beast" Live,
This is a must buy for all fans as this is a hard video to find.

Ain't Nobody who does it like her!.......2008-03-07
Chaka Khan is a living legend. Her stature in the music world is legendary. Up there with The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and other Iconic names, the survivors of the pop world, who are still up at the top after 3 decades and more. How do they manage it?? Others come and go, disappear without a trace, I think it must be their passion for their craft that drives them on without any limits.
This concert does have it's shaky moments (the embarrasingly long costume change) but Chaka emerges and we forgive her for she says "thank you for being so patient with me", and you cant help but love her even more.
The band here are out of the league, terrific talent that only someone of Chaka's background would be able to amass, and then there are the backing singers who are all paid homage to by The Goddess as she gives them their own spotlight section as we watch and listen in awe.
A lot of the Rufus material is included here, which is fabulous as we are taken back to the very beginning of her career with a backdrop collage of images being displayed.
My favourite has to be "You Got The Love" as everything seems to go perfectly here and everyone involved is just SO into it and having a fabulous happy time.
When the credits roll after a delicious 80 minutes plus (!) you are still wanting more, and in complete admiration of this wonderful woman who has persevered, and as we are reminded in the performance, has most definately been "Through The Fire" and survived, glowing even more with life's joys at the other end.
All hail to Chaka, and long may she continue to be such a bundle of dynamite and a joy to watch.

Fantastic fusion of old and new.......2004-07-02
This DVD is worth buying for so many reasons. Not only is Neil Finn a modern day Neil Young (very poetic, meaningful lyricist but can still rock!) but he was also the front man for Crowded House, one of the most influential and listened to bands in the last 30 years. This DVD was filmed over 4 nights at the St.James Theatre in Auckland, NZ and is loaded with gems in terms of performances. Old Crowded House stuff (Weather With You, Don't Dream It's Over, Fall At Your Feet) and some more recent Neil Finn solo stuff (Driving Me Mad, Turn & Run). He is supported by a fantastic array of talent that includes his brother Tim Finn, son Liam Finn (more on him to come), Sebastian Steinberg, Lisa Germano (excellent voice), Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway from Radiohead, Johnny Marr (ex Smiths) and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam fame. They even managed to ressurrect some old Split Enz tracks, in particular Eddie Vedder and Betchadupa (Liam Finns band) covering History Never Repeats and I See Red were great. If you want value for money then this is it, about 30 tracks from one of the best songwriters of all time supported by some of the greatest musicians around today. Lisa Germano deserves special mention, WHAT A VOICE!! She has a sexy tone and is extremely talented, playing violin, guitar as well as vocals. Top Quality
