SG-1s 10th season starts in good forms.......2007-09-12
Episode 10.1 (Flesh And Blood), continues directly on from the season 9 finale Camelot and reintroduces Claudia Black as Vala Mal Doran now a regular cast member, as well as introducing the new face of the Ori army, Adria. In a episodes that has a lot of action and thrills, the SG-1s writing show how cleaver they can be, in the way it provides the answers to who survives the space battle in Camelot and at the same time setting the seasons storyline. Episode 10.2 (Morpheus), continues SG1's attempts to find Merlin's weapon. Although on the surface the episode, seems to be a continuation of the Ori story line with an interesting premise. The episode just happens however to be a filler in order to set up the following episode. Episode 10.3 (The Pegasus Project) sees an SG-1-Atlantis crossover, in which the SG-1 team travel to the Pegasus Galaxy to find Merlin's weapon and to stop a greater Ori fleet. As probably one of the most anticipated episodes of SG-1, dose live up to the hype, providing some classic Mckay-Carter and Daniel-Vala moments and also provides some valued explanation to Merlin's motivations. Its only a shame that Daniels first trip to Atlantis is to further the story line. Episode 10.4 (Insiders) sees the return of classic villain Baal. Although the episode mite seem like a standalone in term of the ark of the season so far, building on the Baal clone storyline. This enjoyable episode, however allows for a good pay off later in the season. All in all the 10th a final season of SG-1, delivers in quality entertainment.
The End Of An Era.......2007-08-16
I didnt really like the Ori story arc but got into it a bit more in Season 10. To be honest Ben Browler and Claudia Black have brought something new to the show but it wasnt enought to keep the show afloat. As for the dvd prices i think £12 is quite reasonable for a release price, but i would advise you to wait and see what the full region 2 box set is priced at. Also try Stargate Atlantis its does get pretty good in seasons 2 and 3
NOT UPDATED ACTORS INFO :( .......2007-08-06
I only want to say that Richard Dean Anderson and Don S. Davis are not main cast actors of SG-1 for TWO YEARS!!! I want to see Ben Browder and Claudia Black's names in the Actors line. They are the main stars of season 10 of Stargate SG-1. I had better opinion of Amazon, sorry to see you're not updating your info.
The wrong headliners.......2007-07-18
As a long term viewer of Stargate SG-1 I am saddened to see that the three rookie actors (to the show) have headline billing over the three who have been with the show since its beginning, namely Amanda Tapping, Chris Judge and Michael Shanks.
With regard to the 'rip - off' price, it's my understanding that Region 1 individual discs don't have the specials on them. And it's still cheaper than getting them at places like HMV who charge the full RRP. I'm content to wait for the individual discs to complete my collection.
Season 10 was marginally better viewing than Season 9. The continuing Ori arc was too complex for my liking. At least Vala became a little less annoying and finally showed some of the common sense that had to contribute to her long term survival.
I agree with the previous poster........2007-07-17
I have already got Season 10 slimline 5 disc set for 17 pounds and it was the best move I have ever made. 12.99 is a rip-off for one volume.
Anyway this final year of a great chapter to the Stargate Franchise is a great season, Daniel going Prior,Jack comes back for a couple of visits and you have a very emotional ending with the Asgard.
Go on and get it now.

sabu and rvd save the day.......2004-02-25
this while not the greatest ecw card ever is one that people should check out if they wanna see some solid wrestling.nearly all of the matches are decent and there are three great ones. the opener between mickey whipreck and shane douglas is a fast moving cracker, and chris jericho vs pitbull#2 is far better than i expected it to be. the two turn out a stunner for the tv title. the best action is to be found in the main event though, as is expected when the two in the ring are rob van dam and sabu. despite the fact that the ring ropes snap at the beginning of the match they manage to assemble a gripping aerial stunt show. special mention should go to stevie richards and the blue meanie also who take off baron von rakshe and golddust respectivly with their baron von stevie and bluedust characters, this is a riot. so do yourself a favour and get this you'll be glad you did.
