    I am a great fan of Enzo G Castellari's works. He has constantly injected such style and excitement into scripts that otherwise would have been stinkers. This is a sign of a great director.

    With a heavy heart I have to give Taureg a 3 rating. I did this for two reasons.

    Firstly, the picture and sound quality of this print is atrocious. It has been transfered directly from a 4:3 video print.

    Secondly, the ending was abrupt and did not make sense. This was adapted from a novel and the themes explored was far too complex for a 90+ minute action film and at the end you felt there was a lot missing.

    Saying that, Taureg is a good film with plenty of action and beautifully shot even, though as mentioned before it is spoilt by the 4:3 transfer.

    All the ingredients where there for it have been a classic and it could have been if it had a bigger budget and longer screen time. Although it is a flawed film, it is recommended to watch to see what could have been.

        A dissapointing season as a liverpool fan again but an improvement on last season finishing 4th place and grabbing the champions league spot from under the noses of newcastle.
        This dvd features highlights of all this seasons games and the highs and the lows of a season which saw Houllier bring french starlets le talles and pongolle to the club and steve finnan and harry kewell.
