    5 out of 5 stars The series' crowning achievement.......2001-08-21

    This Volume 11 & 12 set contains both of the two-part episodes, "The Fire Within" and "Deathwatch". As with nearly every episode in this classic series, they are both excellent, and could teach the best fantasy/sci-fi of today (Buffy, Star Trek) quite a bit about plot structure and direction. If Space Precinct had a failing, it was the lack of continuous plot - there wasn't much carried on from one episode to the next in terms of relationships and character interaction. "Deathwatch" addresses this, and brings the whole thing to a very satisfactory end, even though its two episodes are probably the series' worst. It's great that Space Precinct is finally being properly released (after an abortive VHS attempt in 1995), and any true sci-fi fan will snatch it up!
