Forget all about sleeping pills, just watch this!.......2006-12-03
This is one of the worst sci-fi thrillers I've ever seen. Even for a tv movie, it's crap.
There's this electronic, energetic "monster" that was set free and that walks around, feeding from electricity. It shows up here, and there (but "moving" around rather slooowwww), and kills people trying to get into its way. The scenes seem endless, and since you get to seem them on the news again they are even longer.
It seems like the whole story was a stupid idea some people came up with one evening and they started making the movie the next morning without further thinking.
And just like every movie, there had to be a love story involved, so they added a love story (which doesn't really connect to the monster story at all, unless you count that the husband is one of the scientists fighting the monster). It's funny, but this love story is actually the highlight of the movie for me.
Most of the acting is average, some is bad. Most of the time the actors/characters seem to have no idea what they are talking about.
Even Judd Nelson, who plays a scientist, and who I value as a gorgeous character actor, seemed rather lost in this chaos.

FMW King of the Deathmatch .......2007-06-14
Im only writing this review because im sick of spending hours finding reviews that seem to be written by people who have never seen events but still want to have an opinion.
Ok, the comentary stinks the DVD up big time if you have seen any other dubed FMW you know what i mean, the wrestling itself is mediocre troughout the DVD.if your looking for a stand out OHH MY Goddddd Moment your gonna be disapointed unless youve never seen a exploding barbwire match before but the fire work novelty soon wears off, hayabusha is poor only because the barbwire environment gave him nothing to showcase his ariel style, the mother in laws final match is worth a second viewing apart from that id just wait for the 5th of november and spend my money on the best of japenese hardcore wrestling triple pack.
It hurts and then it bleeds.......2007-04-23
You think you know hardcore wrestling? Until you've seen this DVD you've seen only the iceberg - knives, fire, barbed wire, glass, scissors and Kanemura. The electric ring match is fantastic and I dont know how Masato Tanaka could endure being carved up like that!
I'm a big fan of Japanese wrestling and my boyfriend gets these tapes for me and while I enjoy them I have a couple of things to comment on about the presentation of them - first being that only the main event, (which usually involves Hayabusa which is not a bad thing as before his injury he was the star), is shown in its entireity - everything else is clips and secondly the irritating presentors\commentators who just mock what your watching, (I think Hayabusa deserves to be called better than a crybaby), don't appear to know anything about wrestling or Japanese wrestling and make comments like they beat each other with wet newspapers, call themselves "Eric "Goo-goo" Gellar", say that the women are fighting over bra's and then talk about each other in the nude. At least on some of the DVD's you can have Japanese audio which cuts down on the inane irritating chatter.
I'm sad that Tokyopop did this kind of presentation, why couldn't they have given us an official PPV DVD like everyone else does and dub it without subjecting us to having seeing pointless training sketches with two women WHO COULD NEVER have been in FMW ending with one commentator hitting the other with a bat because he left the toilet seat up?
