Has it's falls and big up's.......2008-02-03
The final event of 2006 and with the lack of ECW: December to Dismember WWE had to put on a well worth show and it did happen with Smackdown bringing WWE Armageddon 2006.
Kane vs MVP- Inferno Match
This is a fairly good match but i would of loved MVP to win it but this one is ok Kane does most of the work in the match while MVP looks scared for his life. 7/10
WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way Ladder Match- London and Kendrick vs The Hardys vs MNM vs William Regal and Dave Taylor
Match of the night most of the men during the match pulled off big moves London and Kendrick take some good risk taking moves aswell as getting top quality action from The Hardys. William Regal and Dave Taylor do not show much as Regal gets scared to even climb the ladder. MNM's Joey Mercury takes one of the most shocking moves the matt holds both of MNM Jeff does a leg drop then the ladder right in Joey Mercurys face all you then see is blood everywhere and Joey's eye is already shut shocking footage. We then see more high lying action all the way in the match when then Kendrick and London pick up the win the real winers should have been The Hardys or MNM. 10/10
The Boogeyman vs The Miz
Not much of a match very slow and not long The Miz is scared all i can remember is Boogeyman putting worms into The Miz mouth sick but funny. 3/10
WWE United States Championship- Chris Benoit vs Chavo Guerrero
Not a bad match but really it is worth a miss and there is not much worth saying about it this is kind of quality you would get on a normal smackdown broadcast. 4/10
WWE Crusierweight Championship- Gregory Helms vs Jimmy Wang Yang
Pretty good Jimmy Wang Yang is not the most interesting wrestler but Gergory Helms is great but this match i would give half the marks 5/10
The Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy - Last Ride Match
Another good match to the event a lot of this heads out of the ring and the way you have to win is put your opponent in a hearse and drive it out of the arena. Both men take this match outside for quite sometime very little in ring action they fight it out on top of the titantron when Kennedy throws Undertaker off it and believe me the action in the match keeps on coming. 9/10
Batista and John Cena vs King Booker and Finlay
I really do not care about this match i never watched it mainly it involved Cena and we all knew he would win this should not of been the main event. As for not watching this match there is no score. But we know it will have the same moves from Cena as always.
DVD Extra:
There is only one Extra put to this pretty good event shame i would of loved to have seen what happened backstage to MVP i would of loved to here a few words from the teams in the ladder match but we get non other then a match from 1998.
To be honest to have this match on DVD 3 times this is from Unforgiven in your house 1998 and it is Undertaker VS Kane the first ever Inferno match. This match is good we see Paul Bearer bleed a lot of in ring then out of the ring action as i said good match just a bit tired of seeing it oh the match features Vader where Undertaker does a dive on both Vader and Kane great move. I have it already on the WWE Unforgiven 1998 DVD back under the WWF releases and on Tombstone: History of the Undertaker.
Overall good event shame the DVD only had the one extra but this is worth owning and the best event Smackdown has to offer and also this is one of the best events of 2006. 3 matches the Inferno with Kane and MVP, Ladder match and Last Ride match make this event 5/5.
Wwe Armageddon... Infeno Forever .......2008-01-29
I borught this dvd a week ago now, knowing the results but not watching any of the matches before. Made an entertaining event...
1)Inferno match, Kane Vs MVP
A good Heated...(cough) affair. The ending wasnt great and felt a bit let down. But then again you dont really see alot of inferno matches. It was predictable before the match who would get burned... if you look at what each wrestler wears...
Rated(7/10)
2)Ladder Match, Paul London/Brian Kendrick(c) vs William Regal/Dave Taylor vs MNM vs The Hardys
What was going to start out as a average match, turned intresting when a ladder match and two other team particapents were added. London and Kendrick always put on a great show and to see them in there first ladder match was entertaining. Worth watching for the high rish moves and the blood alone. Im sure it would have been better with out regal and taylor thou.
Rated(9.5/10)
3)The Boogeyman vs The Miz
Whoooo what? That is the question. Why the Miz does that (Hoo rah) I still wonder. He can be a half decent wrestler if he didnt do that everytime. The Boogeyman is always quite predictable and only has a limited amount of moves. His finisher is not impressive. These guys both need to go away and re-invent themselves
Rated(3/10)
4)United States Championship match. Chris Benoit(c) vs Chavo Gurrero/Vicki Gurrero
As always with Benoit his matches are normaly great. A Good Match but not much else to say.
Rated(7/10)
5)Cruiserweight Championship match. Gergory Helms(c) vs Jimmy Wang Yang
A match there was greeted and totally dominated by Boo's. It really put me on a downer on a match which was actually quite good.
Rated(6/10)
6)Last Ride match. Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy
A great match. There end is exciting and is worth watching to see undertaker rise when he sits up in the limo. The moves on top of the Hearst were good as well. I didnt really like it when someone... wont name who.. was thrown from the titantron, it was so obvious it was onto a crash mat. Like really obvious. Apart from that an enjoyable match.
Rated(8/10)
7)Batista and John Cena vs King Booker and Finaly
Not really what should have been the main invent but none the less entertaining. But what should have been the greatest tag team of that moment didnt prove much together. Worried if Finaly will become WWE champion one day.
Rated(7/10)
The Extras to this DVD are not match... well just one match, but the greatest Inferno match ever. Some great BASE play by undetaker and its good to see paul bearer. What a strange guy.

WWE Armageddon 2006- Farly Good PPV .......2007-10-09
WWE Armageddon 2006
Kane vs MVP- Inferno Match
** This was a good Specticle match, Kane and MVP seem to gel together very well so it was a good start to the PPV
WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way Ladder Match- London and Kendrick vs The Hardys vs MNM vs William Regal and Dave Taylor
**** Wow, What a incredible Ladder Match, Awesome bumps, Mercury got injured and got a ladder smacked in his face which broke his nose that was nasty! Kudos to all 8 Men and what a lovely Surprise!
The Boogeyman vs The Miz
* Perfect place to put this match up, After the ladder match the crowd needed to take a breather and they did for this, the crowd was dead and i don't blame them, horrible match
WWE United States Championship- Chris Benoit vs Chavo Guerrero
** Good at times but i thought this was a fairly average match
WWE Crusierweight Championship- Gregory Helms vs Jimmy Wang Yang
** OK Match, The Crusierweight division is lacking talent i think!
The Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy- Last Ride Match
*** Pretty good match, Good length and some nice spots by Undertaker and Kennedy
Batista and John Cena vs King Booker and Finlay
** This match was all about getting the 2 World champs on the PPV and try and get more PPV Buys this match itself felt like a TV Match, Fairly average but passable i guess
Overall i'd say Armageddon was a fairly good PPV but not the best the ladder match was great and the inferno match and the Last Ride Match were good to but the other matches dragged the rating down, The Main Event was all about getting the 2 Champs on the same show i'd give Armageddon a 6/10
WWE Armageddon 2006.......2007-06-12
I bought this DVD having not known any of the matches and I was deeply impressed with the way it was set out. I loved watching this PPV, however, it wasn't an all-time classic because of certain spots which ruined it a little. But definitely worth the buy.
1. INFERNO MATCH: Kane vs M.V.P
This is the worst of the four Inferno matches that have happened in WWE history but it is still worth the while. I don't know why it was the opener, this as the 5th or 6th match would have given it more build-up I suppose as no-one expected it to be 1st. Kane does a few good power moves and dominates for most of the match. M.V.P is a star for the future indeed but he doesn't prove that here. This was basically Kane's oppurtunity for vengeance after M.V.P beat him in a Street Fight & a Steel Cage match on Smackdown. Not bad, but not great. (6.5/10)
2. WWE TAG TEAM TITLES LADDER MATCH: Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c) vs William Regal & Dave Taylor vs The Hardy Boyz vs MNM
This match was originally supposed to be Taylor & Regal vs Kendrick & London for the titles in a regular tag match, but T.Lo came out and changed the match and competitors. This match was amazing! High-flying moves from L&K and The Hardys, including a senton onto a ladder which basically rips Joey Mercury's nose off! Pretty gross when seen! Fantastic use of ladders in the match, but the only thing I would change would be to include TABLES! TLC matches are genuinely better than regular Ladder Matches but there is no rules which states that tables aren't allowed in regular Ladder matches. Tables excluded is the only thing which drops a point for this match. (9/10)
3. The Boogeyman vs The Miz
Pointless rivalry and no real wrestling here. Just a sloppy brawl and Boogeyman's two moves end the match. The Miz is funny, but why does he have to be a heel? The Boogeyman is still pretty funny, but neither can really wrestle too. JBL is hilarious when he criticises Miz at the start, he wanted Boogeyman to destroy Miz, literally. Bad match, but funny after it finishes! (3/10)
4. UNITED STATES TITLE: Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Benoit (c)
This rivalry has gotten personal to this point and what better way to end it than on the final 2006 PPV? Solid encounter, much like their Survivor Series title match. However, this one seemed more action-packed. Good thing that Benoit retained both times as Chavo is my all-time hated wrestler for injuring Rey Mysterio! This was a great match, but it could have been a bit longer for it to really end the rivalry on a high note. (8/10)
5. CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE: Jimmy Wang Yang vs Gregory Helms (c)
This was confusing; the fans adore Yang when he makes his entrance but when the match gets going, they chant "boring!" and don't cheer whenever Yang does a move. JBL's commentating makes up for this match, but despite the irritating chants, I enjoyed this match on the whole. Wasn't too well hyped, which is a disappointment (and not surprising) but Gregory Helms should be pushed to the United States Title by now because he has earned it. I really like Helms and Yang, but this match didn't deliver what I was expecting, still good though. (7/10)
6. LAST RIDE MATCH: Undertaker vs Mr. Kennedy
Again, another intense, major rivalry which ended tonight. This showed that Undertaker has still got it and Kennedy is a main-event player for the future! I liked this match, especially Undertaker's 30-foot fall! However, there are no DQs in a Last Ride Match, so weapons would have made it that much better. But a brawl which involves blood is still good enough for me. Undertaker is the best in the business at the moment - this is Kennedy's best match to date. (9/10)
7. TAG TEAM MATCH: King Booker & Finlay vs John Cena & Batista
Eek! Well, it wasn't too bad, but NOT the way to end a PPV. Batista & Cena are a really fantastic team, but it was obvious that they weren't going to stay one. This shouldn't have been the main event (the Last Ride Match should have) and what right does Booker T have on the final match of the final PPV? Too bad this isn't great, but the match is saved from being a total dud by good double-teaming and some nice moves from Batista and Cena. Not pretty, but watch it if you must. Kind of spoils the PPV really, nothing new from RAW or Smackdown. (6/10)
So, what are you waiting for? Buy the DVD, worth every penny.
Armageddon puts an Exclamation point to WWE in 2006!.......2007-06-10
80-76%-perfect
75-71%-awsome
70-66%-good
65-61%-poor
60-56%-awful
Okay! Armageddon. This was the third PPV in 5/6 weeks. WWE was struggling after an okay Survivor Series and a Dreadful December to Dismember, but WWE managed to produce a very good B level PPV this year.
1) Inferno match MVP vs Kane
This match was slow in places and was a little dissapointment. MVP is not a superior worker and Kane has been trapped in Mid-card hell all year. 7/10
2)WWE Tag Team Ladder Match: Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c) vs. William Regal & Dave Taylor vs. MNM vs. The Hardyz
This was a pleasant surprise. A match that surpassed the original standard for the match (Regal and Taylor vs Paul London and Brian Kendrick). This is also quite a sad match as this was Mercurys downfall really. It is outstanding but it came with a price. For that i give it 8/10
3)Boogeyman vs. The Miz
Thankfully cut short. Not very good.
3/10
4)United States Championship Match: Chris Benoit (C) vs. Chavo Guerrero
Good match. very like Survivor Series. Some good Technical wrestling shown here. The Eddie Guerrero references are sad. But overall a good if not Very good showing by these two men.
8/10
5)Cruiserweight Championship Match: Gregory Helms (C) vs. Jimmy Wang Yang
Entertaining in places. Too technical. This bout would have been good if it were not supposed to be for the Cruiserweight championship. Not enough high flying. Fans had a right to shout 'boring'!
7/10
6) Last Ride Match: Undertaker vs. Mr. Kennedy
I loved this match. This match showed why Kennedy is destined to hold the title. This match had some breathtaking stunts and gripping drama. A fantastic match which really elevated Kennedy to superstar status!
9/10
7)Batista & John Cena vs. King Booker & Finlay
What a dream team - Batista and John Cena on the same side.Sadly the match did not live up to the hype we endured for this. The match was bumbly and awkward. Maybe oneday Batista and Booker will have a 10/10 match but tonight was not that 'someday'. Short and awkward
5/10
Well that wraps up another WWE PPV review. Overall i gave this PPV a 47/70 which equals 68% which makes it a good PPV. But do not let this put you off Boogeyman vs the miz and the main event drag this card down.Without them this is a very good PPV.
Please tell me if this helped you.
