It has many entertaining matches especially the main event which is one of the best matches that i have ever seen and i advise you to buy this dvd so that you have a chance to see it. You will not regret buying this so what are you what are you waiting for!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars WWE Vengeance 2002.......2002-12-16

WWE Vengeance 2002 featured a wealth of great match ups, such as Kurt Angle, Undertaker and the Rock battling it out in a superb triple threat match for the Undsiputed championship, rokie Brock Lesnar taking on highflyer Rob Van Dam in a hotly contested bout, and Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero looking to defeat the Dudleys in a exciting table match. Most of the undercard is decent enough, with a few shoddy bouts being the exception, and overall Vengeance 2002 is a solid slice of WWE action. I will review each match and rate it out of 10:

The usual video package and fireworks open the show, and we kick things off with:

Table Match - Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero vs. The Dudley Boys: Decent enough opener, with Eddie and Chris having the early advantage, isolating and destroying Bubba Ray. Spike gets the hot tag, and things soon explode. Tables are smashed, finishers are hit, a whole lot of carnage leading up to the final elimination. Overall good choice for an opener, although the crow were someone quiet for it. I will give it 7/10.

Cruiserweight Championship - Billy Kidman vs. Jamie Noble: Another decent, if not forgettable battle, with Noble working on Kidmans arm through the entire match. Nice psycology, although it does not really belong in a cruiserweight match, which usually tend to be fast paced spotfests. Still, at least it gave the men a theme to work around, and what was produced was a good match. I give it 6.5/10.

European Championship - Jeff Hardy vs. William Regal: This match had only just been announced on Heat, so as you can imagine this match had little build up and what the men assembled was a sloppy, trainwreck of an encounter. Poor stuff here, with a few noticebly blown spots. This kind of material is better kept for Raw or Smackdown, not on PPV. I give it 3/10.

Chris Jericho vs. John Cena: Okayish match, although it was a bit slow for the amount of time gived. Their matches on previous episodes of Smackdown were better than this, although the match overall wasn't bad. A few slip ups by John Cena, which is expected as he had only just joined the WWE the month before. Jericho was on top form as usual also, so the only problem I had with the match was the pace, which was too slow. I would give this match 5.5/10.

Intercontinental Championship - Brock Lesnar vs. Rob Van Dam: This match was a lot better than expected, with a lot of drama and suspense leading up to the end. RVD impressed with his aerial assualuts, while Brock took it to RVD with a barrage of power attacks. The ending was poor, as the match ended in DQ, but overall this was Brocks best WWE match at that point. I give it 8/10 for great effort by both men.

No Holds Barred Match - Booker T vs. Big Show: Passable stuff here, with Booker basically getting thrown around like a rag doll for the majority of the match. There is a great spot near the end though, as Booker tosses Show through the announcers table with a Spinkick. Also a good ending, which got a good pop from the crowd. Perfectly acceptable stuff here. 6/10.

Tag Team Championship - Edge and Hulk Hogan vs. Christian and Lance Storm: Decent match, which was expected as Hogan is not exactly a brilliant agile worker these days. Solid stuff throughout, with some good suspense and false finishes leading up to a predictible climax, which featured interference from Test. All the men seemed kinda lethargic for some reason, with put a dampner on the match overall. I give it 6/10.

WWE Championship - The Rock vs. Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker: Blowaway battle here, absolute top notch action from start to end. Loads and loads of finishing moves are hit, as the crowd are very much into it. It was somewhat short though, and could of benifited from a few minutes more, but overall this was superb. I give it 9/10.

Overall a good event, with a fantastic main event, and some solid stuff on the undercard. The extras you get on the DVD version are 7 extra interviews, and coverage of a Tag Team matxh from Smackdown, Billy and Chuck vs. Edge and Hulk Hogan, worth checking out. Not many extras, but the tag match is a solid affair, worth checking out. Overall I would recommend buying Vengeance, for being a solid, enjoyable event throughout. Here is a basic summary:

+ Good opening, which fires the crowd up
+ Spectacular main event, capping off a great show
+ Crowd is hot for most of the action
+ Done the right things do get Booker T over as a credible wrestler
+ Most of the undercard was decent enough
+ Few worthless matches

- Crowd was quiet during first match
- Some of the matches were muich too short
- The match endings were poor for most of the matches
- Some of the matches had little build up

Overall - 8/10 (4/5*)
