Very disappointing.......2007-01-09

There are two things you need to know about this "Interactive Football" DVD. One, it is not interactive, and two, it is not about football.

Firstly, there are no interactive elements to it, you see a sequence of ten questions (I suppose you do get to decide when to move to the next question), and you then see the answers to those ten questions. There is nothing interactive about this. There is no "gameplay" to it.

Secondly, the questions are purely about the World Cup, there are no more general football questions involved.

This is the worst DVD game I have played so far. You actually have to play this terrible game with pen and paper. Other DVD games I've tried are all multiple choice questions, you just choose the answer with a click on your remote control. This was just so tedious, we all had to sit round the telly writing the questions down and then checking them later. This is like a cheap version of a proper DVD game and it was cheap in other ways. There was virtually no video clips, the questions were either too hard or too easy and just boring. I haven't anything good to say about this 'Game' even its presentation was terrible. I took mine back the next day, it was really that bad.

Very Enjoyable Quiz.......2006-05-24

I picked up this DVD as I had bought the original Pub Quiz at Christmas and was very pleased with the layout and playability, also was great fun competing with family and friends.

The footy quiz is the same format, which I prefer to the usual multiple choice 'choose 1 answer out of 4' which to be honest is more to do with chance than your actual knowledge of football. Questions are a good mix of easy to hard with the pleasure in racking your brain for the answer.

This is a great quiz for any football fan, lots of fun to be had and to prove to your brother and mates who knows the most about the World Cup!! GREAT FUN!!

Having never played a DVD interactive quiz before and not knowing loads about football, I was slightly dubious about playing this game. However, once we all started playing I was hooked!
The game itself is really well laid out; the menus are easy to understand and the whole thing looks great. The rules are clear and easy to follow, which makes the game playing part more fun (there is nothing worse than spending hours learning the rules before you play a game).
The questions worked on every level - there were some that were challenging enough for our footy-mad friends, and some that even I could answer.

The Ultimate Football Pub Quiz is real value for money. It kept my friends and I entertained all afternoon. It will make the perfect pre-match warm-up during the World Cup season.

Really easy and quick to play and a good mix of questions. Liked this one a lot.
