Good Thriller.......2003-03-22
I found this film very entertaining. Although I thought there'd be a twist at the end it wasn't the one I was expecting.
You can't exactly 'warm' to the character's but Matthew Lillard is excellent as instigator and plays his role with his usual energy. Michael Vartan is also good as his room mate who reluctantly helps Lillard carry out the killing.
The film leads you first one way and then another until the final dramatic ending. Even though you'll think you've guessed it, chances are you haven't!

I first saw this film 2 years ago and i thought it was hillarious. It is a very dark comedy with lots of twists towards the end. Matthew Lillard pulls off a fantastic performance and he looks as if he thouroughly enjoys playing the part, just like in scream. This film deserves 5 stars and i would totally recomend buying this film, just for the deer hunter scene which is also very funny!
Clever..........2001-02-22
A nice and clever film. My initial thought was to give it a 3 star ranking, but the fact that it managed to keep my interest high until the end (not very common in the latest thrillers) awarded it its 4th star.
I cannot say that it is a masterpiece but it is definitely worth spending two hours watching it especially if you like the this thriller/ black comedy kind of films. At least it is better than many films that became more popular...
