The bonus 2005 interview with Bob Catley, Tony Clarkin, Mark Stanway and new boy Al Barrow sheds some light on the wheres and the whyfors, as well as tales from the early seventies, although it's a bit perfunctory and scarcely in depth.

But on stage you can see what the fuss was about as the band deliver big time with Bob Catley in good voice (although poor clothing) and a consistent set of prime melodic rock, with a peculiarly English sensibility.

It's not the first time this concert has been released for home viewing, but it's a quality transfer, and if your old video copy now resembles a snowstorm, then this will replace it nicely. It also works well as an introduction to Magnum for the uninitiated, and brought back some happy memories to this old rocker.
