One Of The Best Pac Dvds.......2004-07-24
I wasn't sure what to expect when i received this Collector's Edition but boy is it completely worth every penny. 2 dvds with so many extras, you won't have time to watch it all straight away and you also receive the best seller book " Holler if you Hear Me " AND a bonus cd with plenty of tributes from the people who knew Pac best. This is a must for all 2Pac fans, which contains interviews from 2Pac himself, E.D.I ,Shock G, Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Big Syke and Treach from Naughty By Nature just to name a few.
Trust me, you will not regret buyng this !!

this DVD is great for all tupac followers/fans! to anyone who thinks tupac is just any normal thug who got a lucky break this DVD will prove you wrong.

2pac - Behind the music (I guess).......2003-04-10
Important point to note is that this does not have hit songs on it or indeed any real hip hop input. This does not mean it isn't good however. The best feature for me has to be the full interview with 2pac at 17 which is a special feature (it is used alot in the main movie too). It just is amazing to see how intelligent and articulate he was at 17. It blows your mind. He talks literally for 30 minutes on a wide range of topics and makes very logical and reasoned points. its not the angry 2pac we see later on. He is asked if there is anything that he was regretted and he says that he was brought up poor and that he missed out on so many things. It reveals where some of his lyrics come from what his upbringing was like, many people didn't know his mother was a defendant in the panther 21 trial and she was pregnant with 2pac while in jail.
the intervew with Shock G is also good and shows an older man's perspective as he was 27 when pac was 19 with digital and how he used to think the same but had changed.
all in all it is very good and portrays 2pac as he should be portrayed as a human being who had flaws but was better than most people on the earth.

This title is worth more than 5 stars i give it a 10 by far. any strong follower of the life of tupac would certainly need this in the collection of dvd's even those who just listen to his music and not know much about him would love it .Its full of all the real footage and interviews of his life and how he just kept it real for his fans and just showed his true self even my pops was impressed now he watched it he understands why he is loved so much .
this dvd gives out a strong message to the fans out there just be yourself and you gain the respect you deserve and the love of your people nothin more to say but

The best Tupac video ever!.......2002-05-14
This video has got to be the best Tupac video i have ever come across. It does not get tangled up in potraying upac a the thug the media and his lyrics led you to believe, but as the caring, respectful man, who really was someone who made a difference. Unlike other videos about Tupac that are purely trying to make money off his name, this video has been directed and edited superbly. The jokes about Tupac from his friends as worth the price of the video alone! If you love Tupac you'll love this video. If you want to learn anything about him or his life, its for you.

Very good dvd whichs looks more deeply into tupac's life from when he was a boy(17,a smart academic politically aware young boy) right up into before he died(25 a thug angle), with never befor seen footage(songs + concert) and interviews with the likes of shock G(Digital Underground), naughty by nature and many more this dvd will make you see 2pac in a whole new light recommend 2pac fans to buy without thinking
