PRECISION TUITION. GENTLE........2008-01-11
This is such a good DVD, one that I keep going back to to ensure that I am doing the poses to maximise benefit.
It also teaches you how to move out of the positions correctly and with ease(something that is very easy to overlook and forget!)
Patricia Walden is very young in this and its a very innocent, yet totally thorough tuition and experience.
The yoga experience is like taking a holiday from the world and afterwards,feeling like you've had the best M A S S A G E ever.
Amazing yoga for beginners!.......2006-10-19
I had never tried yoga before I bought this dvd with Patricia Walden. First of all - Patricia introduces and carries out some of the poses with props that makes the poses easier for those who are not so flexible - and thats the greatest thing about the dvd. You dont feel stupid and all "beginnery" cause Walden takes it to your level. The dvd features about 10 different poses that you really can take your time learning. Though the pace is slow the pulse gets going and afterwards you do feel that you have been exercising. At the end of the dvd - Patricia does the most amazing relazation exercise where I tend fall a sleep like a little child - soooo nice! Buy it!!
The Best of a yoga class in your own living room.......2004-05-31
After taking a few yoga classes I was a bit sceptical about buying a DVD for beginners as I wanted to learn some new postures as well as develop my existing ones. This DVD did not dissapoint.
Narrated in a nice soft female tone with un obtrusive colouring ad step by step instructions, this is tyhe ultimate dvd for the beginner or intermediate.
The DVD also features bonus workouts for flexability and a 16 minute practice session which is perfect for daily use.
