Get it and get started - you won't regret it.......2006-12-01
I enjoy this workout because it's never boring and the interval training is fantastic. Intially I had a bit of trouble with the moves only because I was completely uncoordinated and must have looked like a thrashing, sweaty spider. I kept up with it because it was just so enjoyable and the coordination came (unexpected bonus). I cannot recommend this highly enough. Susan Powter is great to watch and you never feel patronised just really encouraged to keep going. I love it. I've also never sweated so much in my life and not thought I was going to die. Very well balanced program.
Very disappointing.......2006-10-02
Found it difficult to follow the routine, Ms Powter stops so often and her close ups block the rest of the class!
Fitness DVD for all levels.......2006-01-12
I have been a fan of Susan Powter for many years, and of her three excellent dvds, this is the newest and by far the best in my opinion.
This dvd is suitable for people of all sizes and fitness levels as she encourages you to modify each of the steps to suit your own individual fitness level.
She is a little loud and possibly considered annoying at times but I am the kind of girl who needs someone to keep shouting at me to remind me to pull my stomach muscles in and control the move, so I find it quite helpful.
The classes in all of her other videos contain women of all sizes who show you a whole variety of possible modifications on the same moves.
You are encouraged to keep going at a level that raises your heart rate but to bring down the intensity when you start to go blue in the face!
The lady who gave bad feedback for this dvd must be a Navy Seal or something like this because this truely is a dvd suitable for bringing out a sweat on ANYONE.
The music is not too bad as far as fitness videos go, the actual work out is about 50 minutes and the moves are simple but effective and repeated enough to work the muscles and increase your heartrate without getting boring - or worse, too complicated fast and technical. Perfect balance!

Excellent.......2005-09-16
I first brought this video after reading Stop the Insanity. I have never been bored with it, although I have since brought the other 2 DVDs, I like to alternate them as it is good to give your body a change. The video broke the other day in the machine. I was so relieved to see it on Amazon so I could replace it.
I have read the other reviews, some of which gave it a poor rating which is a shame, it does take some getting used to, but you need to LISTEN to the instructions because it is all there and it does make sense, it can be as hard as you want it for those that are fit. I have seen some very fit friends sweat whilst doing it. It is excellent for the unfit or overweight and Susan is good at motivation. I was 20 stone when I first brought this video, but I managed to get through the whole tape on the 3rd try and then got better as time went on eventually increasing until I was doing the tape 6 days a week, then got a step to do it with etc. If you are large you will be pleased to note that there is a large lady on this video.
