Another pop band, another set of female celebrities, another fitness title, and this is all beginning to sound bland and forgettable. But The Girls from Liberty X--Toned is a cool surprise. With a beach location, a night setting, and club beats by Liberty X producers Gold Dust this dance-led workout has a lot going for it.

Choreographer Kardy Laguda kicks straight into a funky warm up, while the three Liberty X girls concentrate on the moves rather than distracting with the usual inane celebrity comment. Dressed simply in trainers, shorts and tank tops, with hair pulled back (as it turns out to avoid going frizzy from the sea water splashes), they are perfect showcases for a workout that is more of a coordination challenge than a fitness marathon.

The warm up builds up the sexy moves in preparation for the main workout. The pace ups significantly for the core session and, as Laguna throws in more and more moves and details, the non-dance literate could get lost. The final cool down is a chilled-out wind down with some good leg stretches. Whilst this isn't pitched at the serious fitness fanatic, it's certainly not one for the calorie counters lacking in body confidence. Enjoyable if you've got attitude.

On the DVD: The Girls from Liberty X--Toned DVD features a behind-the-scenes extra that, in contrast to the cool, measured, funky night workout, reveals a down-to-earth working day. It's a chance to see the stunning Marbella location, the stage being built on the beach, and the girls taking the waves and the prospect of being soaked in their stride. I thought that this would be great as the liberty x girls have great figures, but its truly not! the dance moves would be a little tricky if you didnt have dance experience, however the teacher shows you them very slowly, while liberty x copy him looking extremely bored! i found myself expecting the pace to pick up throughtout and then it was over!i cant understand why it would be called "toned" as i promise you you wont get a body like a liberty x girl doing this. I gave it two stars because a couple of the moves were quite funky and if your a wannabee dancer it might help you out, otherwise steer clear, if you want to burn some calories and see the weight drop off i suggest you buy Pump it Up! ultimate dance workout

Sorry I am lost for words.

This exercise DVD is very boring. I managed the whole workout, but I just carried on expecting something more exciting.

If you want a good exercise dvd please do not consider this one.

Don't waste your money on this DVD. I bought it thinking it would be a fun and lively workout, instead it's boring, slow moving and doesn't provide any real exercise. If you're looking for a fitness DVD, look elsewhere.

Not a great workout video. I love Liberty X music, and was disappointed to find that there were none of their hits on it. The girls look bored, there is only one workout and unless you are a really good dancer it is quite tricky. I did the workout and it didnt even bring me out in a sweat.

I know it works but so do other (and better) detox programs.
The DVD is boring to watch and seems to be a bit unprofessional made...
And then I do wonder why van Straten looks so unhealthy and obese?!? Doesn't he live what he teaches??? (Apparently not...)
So save the money and by a better detox program in a BOOK...

I watched Kims DVD and read the enclosed booklet and thought to myself that Im going to be hungry and Ill try for a few days....well how wrong was I....

Its my last detox day today...I feel great...not hungry and have re-educated myself in what I can eat that wont see me being hungry in an hour. I havent been hungry once and Kim and Michael give good advice and lots of encouragement throughout.

Everything is clear and the shopping lists and simple recipes were a godsend...the other bonus...Ive lost Half a stone!!!...Hooray and I highly recommend this one.

I realy loved 10 Day Detoxes with Kim Wilde, I enjoyd so much i want to buy the video too for my friend who is suffering form weight problem...if pop icon Kim Wilde who has the most beautiful face and body in the world has a weight problem can fight with that so as my friend i think. Kim is her inspiration and i would like her and many many women and man in the world to see this DVD, it takes only 10 days and you will feel so light, so healthy, doing yoga and eating healthy will realy put you on the track. Kim is teaching you how to do proper diet for 10 days very intersting comments from dr Michael Van. I im on my 3rd day of the Detox and i feel incrediable , first 2 days were hardest but now i feel great and im gona keep doing that for another few days. I just finish watching 10 day Detoxe with Kim Wilde.... I have to tell you, when i first bought this DVD was purly i wanted to see Kim in 10 different outfits, but after i watched the DVD i totaly forgot about her outfit and concentrated on Detoxes, very healthy suggestions, very interesting when Kim says i watch now and think what i put in my mouth before eating, it realy gives you sence of stability and health and plus you loose weight of course, and what is very intersting the relaxing bats, that Kim locks herself with candles, i love massages too...I never knew that yoga can be so much fun too... Very good dvd, i suggest anyone who realy wants to get away from all that madness and caos of his life, Kim takes you to an unbelivable majical jurney, very intalligent and interesting comments from Michael Van... If you don't have it i highly recommend this 10 Detox Dvd

Through following Michael Van Straten and Kim Wilde's detox plan I have lost over half a stone and feel completely revitalised. I found Michael extremely informative and Kim really motivated me to keep going especially when I was tempted to stray! I still use some of the recipies that it incorporates and I will definitely be doing the plan again later in the year. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to lose weight and generally feel better.

Boring.......2007-12-06

Coleman is boring. So is the DVD. It's long, which is usually a good thing as most bodybuilding DVDs leave you wanting more. Ronnie's doesn't. He says about 4 different words throughout the entire thing, "Light weight!" as he psyches himself up to lift ridiculous poundages, and "Mmm, offseason food" as he eats the same meals over and over and over...

Ronnie, unlike Arnie, Lee Haney, Marcus Ruhl or even Dennis James or Dorian Yates, is not articulate. What he is is disciplined, as we see him eating the same things every day (the same meal twice a day) and doing cardio as well as lifting (which is impressive in terms of weights although his form isn't).

Although these are big parts of a bodybuilder's life - train, eat, sleep - you don't want to watch a lot of him eating (or just sitting and prodding his food, as he seems to) just as you wouldn't want to watch him sleeping. We don't need to see him driving to and from the gym, either. There's too much of that sort of thing in the DVD, and added to Ronnie's lack of speech the whole DVD can be summed up in just one word - boring.

There are many better bodybuilding DVDs out there. This is for fans of Ronnie and bodybuilding fanatics only.
