My daughter LOVES this DVD.......2008-03-01
On Saturday mornings my 6 year old daughter pulls out her yoga mat and turns on Yoga Kids. She's able to follow along and is really proud of herself. It took her a few times of watching it before she really was able to do all the moves, but she loves the DVD. She told me today that there was only one adult in the DVD and it was all kids doing the moves, which really impressed her. I highly recommend this DVD.
Erm..........2006-06-24
Well, i like this dvd but my son is not that bothered by it! He has watched it a few times but it does not hold his attention at all. He is only 2 and it does say it is for children a little older so i am not sure it is the dvd but the fact he is a bit young to understand what is going on?! I think as he grows he will enjoy joining in.
GREAT DVD!.......2006-04-26
My now four year old has had this DVD for a year or so now and loves it! The first few times she just sat and watched it, which was fine, and then she started doing it and now loves it. She has learnt ways of calming herself down as well as good exercise. She actually asks to do it now instead of me suggesting it. I would recommend this to anyone!

Deceptive picture, very dated, but surprisingly relaxing........2007-12-03
I admit I did'nt read the other reviews when renting this DVD from Amazon and just went by the fact it was pregnancy yoga and it looked modern on the front with a woman in a branded tracksuit and the release date was 2004.
Therefore very shocked when I turned it on and heard the clipped British tones of two very eighties style ladies. The actual instructor was wearing a JUMPSUIT!!!! I almost did'nt watch it, but since I had kicked everyone out of the room to do yoga I thought I better get on with it!
Well I was surprised as the beginning with the breathing exercises was relaxing and warming and each subsequent pose flowed and was held for just the right time to hold my attention before I got bored. The final relaxtion was very good as the Jumpsuited presenter 'Trish' had a very soothing voice and the waves of the sea really did the trick. I finsihed the session not in the least exerted but very relaxed and shocked that I actually enjoyed it and plan to do it again.
Not the DVD to maintain super pre-pregnancy fitness but I guess we all have to let go of that a little in pregnancy. The exercises are an excellent preparation for birth and the DVD also had additional labour poses and breathing which I hav'nt explored yet.
One worry that I have is how safe is the DVD as some poses such as the neck roll and CAT could possibly cause injury in someone unused to exercise and may not be suitable these days.
Final summary, this is definitely better than many yoga DVD's I have used in previous pregnancies as it did not feel too long and boring.
dated!.......2006-02-07
very dated and low budget - shocking frumpy outfits so uninspired from the start. relaxing but watched it once only and didn't feel like watching again.
Antenatal Yoga - Relaxation And Exercise In Pregnancy.......2006-01-17
Easy to follow, clear instructions and very gentle. I don't think it'll do much for my overall fitness level, but it felt excellent for stretching and relaxation, which are the most important things anyway in pregnancy. I can see this DVD would be easy to follow from now (22 weeks) right up til birth. You do have to forgive the 80's styling!
50 minutes of heads pace each day!.......2005-08-17
I got this DVD nearly as soon as I fell pregnant. I am fairly flexibble and had done yoga before. As a result I found the excercises very gently at first. But, it just took me a while to realise that I was pregnant and had to slow down a bit! I am now 5 months gone and I love this DVD. I try to put it on every day and miss it when I don't. It starts with deep breathing and ends in relaxation. The poses inbetween are explained well. They also give the benefits of each pose and give poses to use during labour and birth. There are a couple of poses where your partner can help too! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the fashions are a little dated and 80s - that put me off at the start!
A Good Stretch.......2005-08-14
This DVD is definitely for those who wish to stretch and strengthen muscles before delivery date. I actually swim and then use this DVD to stretch and unwind afterwards. The exercises aren't particularly difficult but they definitely stretch all the right parts! The breathing techniques used also help you to learn to control your breathing as well.
Well worth the money.

Full form is a challenge.......2007-10-01
This series of DVDs from the Australian Tai Chi academy in Canberra is excellent at putting Tai Chi within accessible reach of people. The martial arts application contained albeit briefly is, I must admit, something of a token gesture here and is covered more fully by someone like Michael Wong in his Combat Ta Chi series. That said, and in response to previous criticism, the full form takes time. To capture, convey and then translate the movements via DVD isn't easy. But if people start with the other DVDs in the series they'll discover a more graduated approach. Whether one believes in Chi vitality or simply wants a framework to add to their cardiovascular fitness the value of Tai Chi's effectiveness cannot be underestimated. But this DVD is the final step and not a DVD to begin with-Qigong would be better.
Give it a chance!.......2007-10-01
Now Hold ON here! Yes, when you first put the DVD on it IS hard to follow, and it is annoying (infuriating) when the camera pans back to Brett, because you forget where you are going BUT....give it a chance. Do it slowly, learn 2 moves per day and you will find that suddenly what once looked like a minefield looks clearer. This is a great form to learn. I've had this for a few weeks now and I too stomped my feet and spat some fire at the TV Screen BUT it's becoming clearer. Isn't it typical of us in the West; we want it NOW and if we can't have it NOW we spit our dummies out. Stick with it - you won't be disappointed!
Umm strangely the word "Patience" comes to light.
Don't listen to the negative comments. I recommend this DVD.
Disappointment and Frustration Rather then Relaxation.......2007-01-03
As a teaching aid this DVD is a waste of tme and money. Leaving aside the poor quality of the editing and general shots that leave you trying to guess what the 'Form' is supposed to be there seems little awareness of the need to give teaching information in easily digestible bites.
Happily I only rented it and have absolutely no intention of purchasing the item either as a single DVD or as part of the boxed set.
Tai Chi - For Relaxation And Good Health.......2006-07-21
I agree with the previous reviewer, this DVD is very difficult to follow. There is way to much emphasise on artistic impression and nothing like enough on clarity of instruction. You find that as well as not being able to view the whole of the instuctors body most of the time, shots fade from one to another so you cant see what is going on, and also parts of the scenary obscure the instructors feet. The form is split up into small sections which the instructors run through in real time 3 or 4 times, again I would prefer if each movement was explained individually very slowly.
The only way that I could actually learn the form was to constantly use the slow motion and freeze buttons on the DVD player, very frustrating. But I have learned the form now and I find practicing it very enjoyable.
I think this form is worth learning but the way that the instruction is presented here makes the learning process very difficult and frustrating which is a pity as the instructors look to be very skilled and with a little more thought this could be a very good DVD.
I think there are enough good points in the DVD to make it worth buying but you will need to be prepared to do a lot of work with your DVD players remote cotrol to glean all the information that you need to learn the form
Not impressed.......2006-06-16
I was very disappointed with this DVD. I turned it off after the first 3 forms (following the warm-up). Although they looked like they would be good, I couldn't get to grips with them properly, because of the camera work. Brett faced you and Fontaine had her back to you so you saw the form as you would be doing it. I thought that would be good, but most of the time you didn't see her, as the focus was on Brett guiding you through the form. The trouble was (for example), that when he explained a movement, the camera's focus was on his torso, so you couldn't see everything he was doing. Added to that, you couldn't see what he was doing with his legs. I wasn't overly impressed with the style of presentation either. Movements were mentioned as he went along, as if he realised he had forgotten to tell you them at the beginning. Personally I would have preferred it if they had explained what to do slowly and then, showed you the movement in real time, rather than explaining as they did them.
