Not what I expected.......2008-01-10

This DVD is not to my taste at all. It reminded me a little of old 70 style workout videos. Cheesy. The workout is too sectioned for my liking and doesn't flow. However it explains the featured poses well. This DVD would be for the total novice but it sure will get boring quickly as aren't enough poses. Buy Leah Bracknell's DVD instead!

Disappointed.......2007-09-24

I was really- disappointed with this dvd. It does have some good bits though. As a beginner I thought it would be good for me, but Vimla goes too fast some of the time and only does the pose on one side instead of repeating on both with some of the moves. She doesn't give you enough instruction and sometimes it is hard to watch the tv and do the pose at the same time. I much preferred Leah Bracknell's Yoga DVD (if you are a beginner like me). :)

Excellent for those who are beginners.......2007-03-01

This dvd has different sections. The first is a daily workout which incorporates yoga with movement. The next section is a stress relieving section. The last section is split into 4 components and can be used for remedial conditions.

This dvd is fantastic for beginners as the postures are explained and shown properly. Vimla is a fabulous instructor and really values the origins and core principles of yoga. A few of the postures are slightly more challenging but I wouldn't recommend it for the more advanced practitioner unless it was a more calming workout they are looking for.
