....because the difference I'vbe seen in my figure in just one week is amazing!!! I'm already fitting into a smaller dress size!!!
All my muscles are aching...in a good way...and boy does it work the rear!!!

Zoe Lucker DVD.......2007-11-18
I did this DVD at school first of all in our aerobics lesson. I really enjoyed the workout and found it quite a good workout. I agree about the camera but once you understand it, it gets quite simple. A good buy and good value

I was really disappointed with this purchase. I've bought countless DVDs over the past few months, not merely for fitness but because i actually enjoy working out to routines now. I didn't enjoy this one as much as i had hoped to. It's not too difficult so it's good for beginners but at the same time it still gives you a good workout. The boxing section was the best one but i'd really been looking forward to the dance and yoga sections. The dance section is what i found particularly disappointing. I didn't find that challenging and i wouldn't really classify the moves as dance moves at all. Personally i didn't find the DVD as challenging overall as i had hoped to but to be honest i think this is because i have become accustomed to using Nell McAndrew and Tae Bo DVDs which are Really challenging and so DVDs that aren't as difficult as those do not live up to my expectations!
Zoe Lucker's Little Black Dress Workout - My Favourite Workout DVD ever!!!.......2007-07-04
Zoe Lucker's Little Black Dress Workout is fantastic, i bought this purely because i love Footballer's Wives and especially Tanya Turner, Zoe's charachter but was very pleasantly surprised to find that it is a great all round workout that's fun and pleasant to do.
It's filmed in a beautiful stately house and in the gardens which contribute to a nice peaceful atmosphere whilst you're working out.
Zoe is accompanied by her trainer Niki Wibrow who is the one one leads the workout - Zoe doesn't talk much which is a shame but her trainer Niki is lovely and really motivating, what i like most about Niki is that she seems like your average girl next door type you can have a laugh with which makes the workout fun to do - like you're working out with friends. Niki Wibrow is an internationally acclaimed fitness instructor to the likes of Angela Griffin (Dance Workout 1 and 2) and Patsy Palmer (Club Dance Workout).
The workout is innotative in the way that there are 5 sections each lasting around the 10 minute mark:
WARM UP - Comprises regular warm-up moves and puts together a routine - quite confusing - i tend to use Davina's Power of Three warm-up which is much easier
DANCE - Not much of a dance routine but a good aerobic routine which is quite fun but doesn't seem to make me work as hard as the rest of the dvd
BOX - My ultimate favourite section - this is the biggest fat burning section which involves punching, kicking, uppercuts, squats, ducking etc Excellent all body workout - only 10 minutes but this alone will leave you with the sore feeling you get after a good workout
TONE - this section is floor-based but don't think that just because it's on the floor that it's going to be easy - this is a brilliant workout which uses warm-ups, balancing etc definitely great for toning!
YOGA - Not exactly yoga, thank God because i'm not very flexible but it's more of a cool down, again floor based which is very beautiful - you don't even have to have worked out to do it - sometimes after a hard day at work i'll set aside 10 minutes to do this section as it is great for clearing the mind of all stress - perfect!!!
You don't have to do all of the dvd - you can maybe just do 1 section or 2 or you can go the whole hog and complete the whole workout which is 50 minutes - it's what works best for you.
Also included with the dvd are some extra's - three girls completed the workout with Zoe and Nikki and each lost a stone and a half and the extra's show them all working out together, their thoughts on the workout and how it worked for them, also included is behind the scenes with Zoe and Nikki from the day they did the workout which is fun.
All in all i would recommend this dvd to anyone looking to start losing weight/novices to the world of fitness dvd's - after a while it won't feel like much but do this dvd for 2/3 months and you'll see your fitness improve dramatically and you really can shed those pounds and tone up - it's not just a workout, it's a lifestyle, forgive the warm-up and you have a great all round dvd.

Never done a video workout before. Found it a little hard to follow the 1st 2 or 3 times as a few times the instructor will tell you to follow what she's doing with her feet, but the camera is on Zoe's face! Once you get the hang, it's a good workout. Good that you can pick n mix the 5 sections too. And Zoe is human - you can tell she's finding it hard to follow at times too. Reminds you that none of us are perfect!
