Excellent - it works!.......2005-05-04
I have just ordered the DVD, but the video is excellent! It really does work. You must follow the work out and use it regularly, every day if you can for three months, then as you can. At least three times per week. Every day revitalizes you with energy, you lose inches, and gain shape. Very, very good with Radu.
OK for toning but too serious.......2005-01-07
This is similar to her previous vid where it can be repetitive and a bit boring. It is effective though and you do know you've toned your muscles.
This is purely toning and not cardiovascular.
We could do without the touchy feely of the trainer though....hmmm
Way Too Hard.......2004-09-06
This excercise vid is great if you really want a solid, good and serious workout. And when ever I do this vid my body really aches all over. And you will see results. I have.
But I have found that I am way too lazy to do this one. Instead I tend to chose easier and more fun ways to excercise. Elle McPherson's Body excercise for example is a lot more easy going and lot more fun to do, not as hard as this on but you still get the desired effects.
Cindy Crawford on the other hand is a great motivator and she actually seems like a nice person. But I just find this one way to serious and too hard.
Great, Great, Great.......2004-08-06
I love this video. Ok so it's a bit old, and certainly looks quite dated when you watch it, but it is the single best exercise video I have ever done.
I am quite an exercise video-a-holic, with no motivation to go to the Gym I do manage to do 1 to 2 hours a day at home. This video seriously had me exhausted, and I had to have a break for a few days afterwards. I like to think I am quite fit, but this video really toned up areas I did not think could get more toned up!
The only reason I have knocked off a star, is the saftey aspects have a lot to be desired. Cindy warms up WAY to fast, especially around the neck and back areas. She provides little explanation of the safe way to complete the exercises and does not give enough opportunity for stretching. Quite how practical exercising in a little pair of denim hotpants is, I'm not sure.
If you take the warm up at your own pace, slow the actions down and add your own stretches this video is worth twice the price. Not really for beginners.
fun.......2003-06-12
I like it a lot. This video and New Challenge I have for about 6-7 years. Cindy does great job, and excercises are giving me energy and motivation. I play viola and have to spend many hours practicing. And those excercises are giving me energy that I need to keep up with my busy schedule.
Great attitude, great music...and fun.

an amazing workout!.......2007-10-18
I have been doing another Cindy's dvd, and then I bought this one. I tried, you know I feel so good and energised, she makes every muscle on your body work. I mean everthing. it is like one hour, you need your weights and lots of water. i am going to continue this works out as I feel better and I really work my body. try! Wish you the best!
Excellent.......2005-07-18
I usually do an aerobic dvd followed by this one, and I think that it is a perfect way to work out. This doesn't really burn up enough calories on it's own, (although that depends on what you want, I want to burn a lot of calories to keep my weight down as well as being toned) but added on to another cardiovascular workout it completes the workout perfectly.
You need some weights and a mat for the floor and a bottle or glass of water for this workout.
You begin by doing excercises to work your legs and bottom and they are very effective indeed. There are some unusual moves in there and the fact that you only do each one for the count of ten is perfect. I like the variety and shortness of each of the exercises. Cindy stops for water breaks throughout the programme and I think that is a very good idea. You can have a drink and march on the spot if you want to keep your heartrate going. You then go down to the mat and do your first set of abs work. While you are down there you complete your chest exercises with the weights and then carry on to the second set of abs exercises. (Breaking the abs up helps me complete them!)
Then its back to your feet for the weight section proper. This is a very enjoyable part of the workout and I find it strangely relaxing and a real pleasure, I think it's because I like the music in this section, although I must say that the music throughout the dvd is very good and better than most exercise dvd's. From here it's back down to the floor for the last part of the routine.
When it's all over you feel really good. Cindy is a nice presenter and doesn't make any annoying faces or comments, just gets on with it. I think that you probably need a degree of fitness to complete the exercises but as Cindy says if you can't do as many as her, aim for half of what she does and build up.
There is a section at the end of the dvd with the more difficult exercises explained fully with tips on how to do them safely which I thought was a nice touch.
The filming of the dvd and the settings are really very nice and better than the usual and coupled with the good music, not to mention the great routine, I find this an althogether very enjoyable dvd.
best fitness video ever.......2005-05-13
i bought this video nearly 10 years ago and i still use it regularly. Others have been discarded to the back of the cabinet but this one is so good. The cardio section consists of very simple yet effective exercises that need no co-ordination whatsoever! Unlike any other ex vid i have bought there is also a section using weights which i enjoy. i always feel like i've had a good workout afterwards and can feel it the next day. nothing bad to say about this video, buy it!
Cindy Carwford The Next Challenge.......2005-01-19
This workout will work every muscle group in your body! It is by far the best celebrity workout I've ever done! Just after 6 weeks of working out with Cindy my mates commented on how streamlined I looked! I've always been into fitness and I find this workout challlenging and fun!!!A good buy!!! It will change your shape if you keep doing it and its got plenty of variety so you won't get bored too soon!
BEST routine ever........2004-12-02
This is not your typical Jump about aerobic video, so if you are looking for that avoid it. If on the other hand you are like me and love using weights and toning your body then this is a brilliant buy.
If is VERY hard work though, and you will probably ache a little the next day, but it does work those body parts that the lady likes to tone up.

Surprisingly impressive!.......2006-01-12
Now I get easily irritated by instructors but this was fantastic! Cindy is very normal and not stupidly perfect or fake-tanned and the instructor is really lovely. As an ex-dancer I've done a lot of varied training and this is completely professional. Clearly and safely explained, it covers the whole body almost without you realising it!
I haven't just had a baby but post-natal workouts are often very good for toning the body and this is no exception - it's not a heavy cardio DVD but you do sweat. I got a fantastic body in a few weeks - all over! I highly reccomend this, particularly if, like me, you like a relaxing workout in the morning (you can choose from a 12-minute, 30-minute and 45-minute routine). Very satisfying!
Would have given 5 but..........2005-01-19
...there is no safety postnatal safety advice. I feel this really let the DVD down. Other than 'take it easy we've all had different deliveries' there was nothing else.
I think this is only suitable for women who are very aware of the do's and dont's of postnatal exercise and not for beginners.
Other than that it's a really good workout, nicely filmed, good music and a good routine which works.
Excellent Fitness Programme.......2004-10-21
Just a short review. I think this is the best fitness video/dvd I have used. It is not for people into excessive fitness but is a very good routine for those getting back into fitness/short on time/or those that are building their fitness up. It is split into 3 workouts that can be done all together or seperately. A friend of mine has also used this to get back into shape after having a baby and said it was excellent. You dont need much in the way of equipment either. The DVD edition is the best because it is easier to start and stop.

Walking off Weight Works.......2004-03-28
This a great general keep fit exercise regime. Easy to follow, focussing on fat burning rather than fancy footwork. Highly Recommended to those joining the exercise kick.
Excellent.......2004-03-15
This DVD is an excellent way to start/ step up a fitness program.
The miles fly past with no difficult dance steps or fiddly bits of equipment to master.
Very motivational!!

Fun and does what it says.......2008-02-19
This is the second dvd from the firm my wife has bought. The first was 4 months ago and she has been doing regularly since. A difference was seen within 10 times of doing the DVD and she found it was fun to do, even our 3 year old sometimes joins in. So onto Jiggle Free, again fun and after the first time doing, she felt the aches from the workout.
If you like my wife have tried the bike, cross trainer to no avail, do not have time for the gym, then this is for you.

Full form is a challenge.......2007-10-01
This series of DVDs from the Australian Tai Chi academy in Canberra is excellent at putting Tai Chi within accessible reach of people. The martial arts application contained albeit briefly is, I must admit, something of a token gesture here and is covered more fully by someone like Michael Wong in his Combat Ta Chi series. That said, and in response to previous criticism, the full form takes time. To capture, convey and then translate the movements via DVD isn't easy. But if people start with the other DVDs in the series they'll discover a more graduated approach. Whether one believes in Chi vitality or simply wants a framework to add to their cardiovascular fitness the value of Tai Chi's effectiveness cannot be underestimated. But this DVD is the final step and not a DVD to begin with-Qigong would be better.
Give it a chance!.......2007-10-01
Now Hold ON here! Yes, when you first put the DVD on it IS hard to follow, and it is annoying (infuriating) when the camera pans back to Brett, because you forget where you are going BUT....give it a chance. Do it slowly, learn 2 moves per day and you will find that suddenly what once looked like a minefield looks clearer. This is a great form to learn. I've had this for a few weeks now and I too stomped my feet and spat some fire at the TV Screen BUT it's becoming clearer. Isn't it typical of us in the West; we want it NOW and if we can't have it NOW we spit our dummies out. Stick with it - you won't be disappointed!
Umm strangely the word "Patience" comes to light.
Don't listen to the negative comments. I recommend this DVD.
Disappointment and Frustration Rather then Relaxation.......2007-01-03
As a teaching aid this DVD is a waste of tme and money. Leaving aside the poor quality of the editing and general shots that leave you trying to guess what the 'Form' is supposed to be there seems little awareness of the need to give teaching information in easily digestible bites.
Happily I only rented it and have absolutely no intention of purchasing the item either as a single DVD or as part of the boxed set.
Tai Chi - For Relaxation And Good Health.......2006-07-21
I agree with the previous reviewer, this DVD is very difficult to follow. There is way to much emphasise on artistic impression and nothing like enough on clarity of instruction. You find that as well as not being able to view the whole of the instuctors body most of the time, shots fade from one to another so you cant see what is going on, and also parts of the scenary obscure the instructors feet. The form is split up into small sections which the instructors run through in real time 3 or 4 times, again I would prefer if each movement was explained individually very slowly.
The only way that I could actually learn the form was to constantly use the slow motion and freeze buttons on the DVD player, very frustrating. But I have learned the form now and I find practicing it very enjoyable.
I think this form is worth learning but the way that the instruction is presented here makes the learning process very difficult and frustrating which is a pity as the instructors look to be very skilled and with a little more thought this could be a very good DVD.
I think there are enough good points in the DVD to make it worth buying but you will need to be prepared to do a lot of work with your DVD players remote cotrol to glean all the information that you need to learn the form
Not impressed.......2006-06-16
I was very disappointed with this DVD. I turned it off after the first 3 forms (following the warm-up). Although they looked like they would be good, I couldn't get to grips with them properly, because of the camera work. Brett faced you and Fontaine had her back to you so you saw the form as you would be doing it. I thought that would be good, but most of the time you didn't see her, as the focus was on Brett guiding you through the form. The trouble was (for example), that when he explained a movement, the camera's focus was on his torso, so you couldn't see everything he was doing. Added to that, you couldn't see what he was doing with his legs. I wasn't overly impressed with the style of presentation either. Movements were mentioned as he went along, as if he realised he had forgotten to tell you them at the beginning. Personally I would have preferred it if they had explained what to do slowly and then, showed you the movement in real time, rather than explaining as they did them.
