Very disheartened by this dvd... I watched it and was very unimpressed. The other reviewer is right, if you are looking for a real Asthma DVD, there are far better ones available on Amazon, especially the Vision Health dvd, it is excellent.

This DVD meanwhile, has poor production value, no medical information, no real substance at all. Just a poorly shot Yoga class. Do yourself a favour, if you want to explore the benefits of Yogai, go to a class... you'll learn much more and whatever you do, don't be hoodwinked into thinking that this is really anything to with Asthma, it's a Yoga video... with Asthma loosely tacked on as a theme.

My advice, search Amazon DVDs again... look for a DVD that is actually packed with information and covers everything from Tai Chi, to Yoga to Nutrition, to homeopathy, to buteyko, to acupuncture, to diet, to herbal medicine, to allergy, to food sensitivity, to organic food.... the list is endless. Seek and you will find. It's called Asthma an Integrated Approach and it will really help you.

This DVD is not great. After searching for DVDs on the subject I felt sorely disappointed to find only a handful, of terrible products. This is substandard from start to finish. It's only saving grace is that it has nice packaging! The great "3D animations" are of primary school quality, the dubbing of the English is almost ridiculous and there is no attempt made at anything resembling a scientific appraisal of the impact of Yoga on Asthma. If you are looking for a DVD on Asthma, try the fantastic Visionhealth DVD, Asthma: An Integrated Approach, presented by The Barefoot Doctor. It has an excellent section on Yoga and contains more tha 45 chapters, over 2 DVDs! It's available on Amazon and the web at healthdvds dot com.
