Very energetic.......2007-12-26
I wanted a DVD to do while my yoga class was broken up over Christmas. This has excellent reviews. It's not at all what I expected though. I wanted a DVD to take me though various poses and to stretch my very inflexible body. So I was a little surprised with this energetic yoga. I find the fast breathing a little difficult but I'm sure it will come with time. I have done the first of the two workouts and I feel my shoulders and chest are much looser. I did really enjoy it. I think I might get another DVD for the stretches I want, but I can see me doing this when I get up to liven me up for the day!
A MUST HAVE.......2007-09-03
Trying out one of the ana/ravi DVD's by chance, I suddenly owned all of them(in the space of 7months!). Be warned - you may get hooked! This DVD is one of my favorites. It has two 25 minute sets that stand alone or can be done as a whole. Both are excellent and cover it all. I use this one alot especially when I am pressed for time but want to feel like I really got a good yoga workout in.
I love these DVD's because I can feel and see the difference, I feel so good, so well, so renewed and inspired! Thank you Ana & Ravi! Because of your yoga, and your inspiring words, I have lost weight, awakened myself and feel so much more hope and strength. I so appreciate the thoughts you put into your DVD's,the instructions are crystal clear- I can almost be sure of the posture and movements even if I have my eyes closed. I do not feel nagged at as in other DVD's. I feel encouraged and supported, and I love the music! I feel I get a whole, complete, energetic workout with these DVD's. This DVD is very relaxing but I still get a great workout!
Can't get enough of this workout.......2007-09-03
I am very happy with this workout!! I own most of Ana Brett & Ravi Singh's DVD's and I heard about the 5 Tibetan rites and really wanted to try this DVD. I really really like it!!! Even though it's for beginners and I do their more advanced workouts regularly(Yoga Bliss Hips, Yoga Beauty Body and the most advanced of their workouts -Warrior Workout) on a regular basis , I see myself doing this DVD often - especially in the mornings before work! The music is great, the workout is fun, I love their soothing voices, and I totally love the set which is very bright and cheerful and Ana is so graceful and has a very serene presence! I love her outfit and her dancing is so cute!!!!
Best of the Best.......2007-09-03
I tried quite a few yoga DVD's before hitting the jackpot with this one. This brilliantly sequenced title has two workouts. The first one is to warm up and release the spine. I feel I have a new back after just a few workouts. The second one, the 'Five Tibetans' works on all the major muscle groups. After two weeks of doing this one about 3 times per week, I'm already seeing definition in my chest and shoulders from doing the Down Dog to Up Dog exercise in set two and I am seeing some extra definition in my core as well. I really appreciate the fact that you get benefits of both yoga and exercise in one workout. By the end of this DVD I feel energized, relaxed, and on top of the world. I have never felt this from any other type of workout! I know that sounds like sort of a commercial but it's true. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
