No one should have to put this much effort in trying to get through a film - somehow the French are excellent at this kind of torture - don't waste your time, I couldn't find ANY redeeming features in it.

I can watch any film no matter how good or bad this is one of the very few films ever that i have had to turn off. Its lesbian content is a joke and even taking that away from the film it leaves it with urmmm NOTHING WORTH WATCHING !!!!!!

I read the 2 posted reviews written previously, after I'd seen the film and I have to say, I disagree with them both; hence this review. Although hardly 'action-packed', the film may certainly be described as subtle and meandering but with a definite punch in its finale. I've very glad I persevered and saw it in its entirety.

The trials and petty tribulations of growing up in a seaside town alongside one's parents and petty-minded adults is well presented here. An example of things that are actually no big deal in hindsight, are tremendously important and potentially devastating during one's teens; this is well-portrayed and I felt the frustration and anger, especially of the female lead.

I wouldn't say this is one to watch again and again, but I'm glad I've seen it and it's left me with distinct memories and thoughts; deservedly so from this low-budget production.

And for those folk that are expecting lesbianism - this is not what this film is about. Sure, there's some tame nudity but it's all in context. It's more about family life and growing pains. Hope this helps.

This has got to be the most mindnumbing film i've ever seen, you keep watching it as you are expecting something exciting to happen any minute but it just doesn't. As for it being billed as a lesbian interest film, ha, what a laugh. Truly awlful
