The item I got was not a UK model and no adaptor was supplied. I managed to get an adapter but really wish I hadn't bothered. The item made a horrible screeching sound whenever it accessed the USB or SD Card...plus the CD made a loud noise too...making the whole product unusable. I sent it back & got a refund. I would suggest you steer clear of this product. And just out of interest I went to my local Currys & found a similar product there. It was only £35 and works wonderfully. It can play CDs/MP3 CDs/USB & SD cards. It isn't strictly an alarm clock but I wasn't going to use that feature anyway. I wanted an item that I could sleep to not wake me up.

I've had a Samsung LCD monitor at home for several years and have been impressed by its reliability and clarity. I've just been upgraded to a 920N screen at work and technology appears to have advanced over the last couple of years as it's noticably better than my old one.
The display is easy on the eyes, with exceptional clarity. The controls are clear and usable without the need for a manual. The image can be customised in quite a lot of detail if required, although it comes with 3 easy presets: "Text", "Internet" (my choice) and "Entertain".
It looks quite stylish for a reasonably cheap display, with a small desktop footprint. Definitely unobtrusive anyway.
I would thoroughly recommend it for home or office use.
