No screen protector.......2007-03-15
I was not impressed with this product, it makes the already bulky sansa c100 look huge as the silicon is too thick. The case attracts more dirt then the mp3 player and the screen is left unprotected so is still vulnerable to scratches, honestly, you would be better of using a sock.
The only plus side of this product is it is very comfortable to hold and button use is not comprimised.

This case is well worth the money to protect your Sansa, it fits well affords the Sansa additional protection and as you would expect and all of the controls remain easily accessible. Beware, the picture however suggests that there is a belt clip on the back, there isn't and the search goes on.

The case does exactly what it is meant to. Its very tough and thick and absorbs all falls and would-be scratches. Although there isn't anything covering the screen, which you can see by the photo, the rubber is thick enough to raise he screen off the floor had it been dropped.
The only problem with the case is that it covers up the appearance of the beautiful E200. But that comes down to wether or not you prefer the look of the mp3 player or its protection.
Overall its an essential accessory for the mp3 player as the case provided with the E200 is simply a fabric sleeve.
I seriously recommend buying this cover.
Gets the job done but no screen protector.......2006-12-14
This WILL protect your sansa, but it doesn't have something to protect the screen. All ports and buttons are accessible except for the microsd card slot (but you wouldn't normally need to take that out much anyway).
This is a good case for the price, however it does make your sansa look a bit odd (one of the reasons I hardly use it).

Does What It Says On The Tin.......2006-11-16
This case will protect your Sandisc e series MP3 player from knocks and bumps, useful if like me it gets put in bags and glove boxes.
I have to agree it ruins the fine lines of the unit and doesn't protect the screen (the hole where the screen is where you insert the player).
Two further disadvantages are:
When new it smells strange and you cannot use the protective cloth bag that came with your Sandisc player as the silicone case makes the player too big.
So if you want to protect your player for the price it's worth a punt and a tip to protect the screen is to cut a square of clear plastic from a display box and slide that into the hole after you have inserted the player.
You can also buy it from Amazon in different colours.
