This web camera does what you need from a webcam...video with decent sound. It is reasonable well constructed (although mine had a rather nasty incident with a Landrover...still works though). It integrates seemlessly with Skype and Messenger which is all I need. You can make perfectly good phone calls through Skype too just by using the built in mic. Why spend more for silly features like changing your face for a fish (VX3000 I think). The mount is suitable for laptops, LCD screens and CRT monitors.

A large number of current and legacy devices use standard 5-Pin mini USB connectors. However, some devices (including, but not limited to the UBiQUiO 503G and Toshiba G900) have started to use 10-Pin mini USB connectors, which function similarly, but charge more quickly than standard cables. The only disadvantage is that while standard 5-Pin mini USB sync cables, car chargers and AC adapters fit these devices, you will find that they do not recharge the device as quickly as the 10-Pin mini USB cables that are supplied with your device, and will only work while your device is turned off or in sleep mode. Sync cables will sync while your device is on, but the power function will not work.
If you are a long term PDA user and own standard miniUSB accessories which you'd like to continue to use as spares, this adapter will allow use any 5-Pin mini USB cables & adapters with devices that have 10-Pin connectors and will recharge your device normally.
