Solid and spacious.......2007-08-13
I spent a little while agonising over the sort of bag I needed and finally opted for this. It has plenty of room. I'm carrying around my Canon kit: 400d, EFS10-22, 24-105L, 100-400L, spare lens/body caps a polarising filter, rocket blower, cleaning cloth, cables, spare battery and CF cards and it still has room for a small paperback and some suitably wrapped sarnies. I could just about squeeze in the lens hoods if I left out the book and sarnies :-)
The bags well padded internally and externally, has plenty of pockets (including the elastic webbing type) for stuffing things into and a waterproof pull out cover. All the internal dividers attach with Velcro and can be re-arranged to suit the kit that's going in the bag.
The shoulder pad is broad, well padded and has a shape that means it sits very comfortably even for long periods. It's also got a non slip texture that keeps it on the shoulder. I've taken it hiking in the mountains in southern Spain on a warm day with the above kit, and not had problems carrying it for 20Km.
I've found it very handy for changing lenses as the top's big enough to sit the replacement lens on it while removing the one on the camera.
It doesn't shout CAMERA, and looks like many other shoulder bags, and when worn with the strap over the opposite shoulder the bag sits securely and comfortably under the arm.
Highly recommended.
