A good investment.......2006-02-22
So, your brand new, £200 Sony digital camera arrives...you rip open the box...and discover that there's no carrying case supplied. Shame on you Sony! Anyway, Sony do produce several carrying case options, and this is one of them. The case is well made in black leather, and complements the DCS-P200 camera. There's front flap with a Velcro closure, and a stitched belt loop on the back of the case. Small D-rings on either side of the case allow you to attach the supplied shoulder strap. There's also a small pouch that attaches to the shoulder strap and takes a spare battery and memory stick. The case is a perfect fit for the DSC-P200, with the camera fitting snugly inside. There's not a great deal of internal padding, so avoid dropping onto hard surfaces, although the case should provide plenty of protection from rain, dust and so on. Overall, it's a well made product that provides a perfect home for your DSC-P200 or similar. And the price isn't bad either.

The carrying case itself looks good and is manufactured to a very high quality. It is made of good quality genuine leather. Shoulder strap and mini pouch are made of arificial leather and look rather cheap.

Great piece of kit........2007-05-26
Ok, well, i purchased this a week ago, i got it next day, just like the deliverey promised, and started it up, i had to obviously go through an hour of booting everything up and getting everything started.
After that, i rebooted it, and it rebooted in exactly 25 seconds, it's really THAT fast, i love this machine, Vista looks so amazing on it, and it works so well, i checked the specs for this machine to another sites prices, and the other site was a good third more then this, well done Acer, for creating such a reliable, fast and gorgeous machine, and thanks Amazon for pricing it so fairly :)

I have exactly the same laptop I bought yesterday, except mine is the slightly smaller hard drive with 80G. But everything else is the same. Battery power is good. The screen display is good. Wireless reception is strong. Plus Acer have an international warrantee service, meaning you can take it to nearly any country and still get it serviced at their local office there. Windows Vista runs fine on it, and if you want , windows lets you tweak the performance easily by going into the Control Panel settings. When you buy it, make sure you have 2 blank DVD discs handy because when you first turn it on, it takes about 40 mins to finish installing Windows for you. Then it prompts you to create rescue discs using the blank DVDs I meantioned earlier, which you can do later if you want. Then you are up and running.
