This item is not reccommended when compared to the np-qm91d which offers upto 6 hours run time depending on which camera u have and it costs only £62 including delivery
First choice for beginers.......2002-02-27
If you are a first time user of a Sony Digital Handy Cam then this is the choice for you. The battery offers well over an hour of reliable filming time which should be plenty for a days use. Then when the day is over you can simple put it onto charge which should take just 120 minuets on a standard charger. If you are looking for faster charging time then you should look at Sony's BC-VM50 charger which takes only 45 min therefore reducing the charging time by 75 minuets.
The battery is very small meaning that the total size of the camera is reduced. It is also of very lightweight making it easier to carry around.

If like me you are looking for an inexpensive webcam to use primarily for Skype, this is just the ticket. Extremely straightforward to get started and use - install the software, plug in with USB cable, open Skype, ta-daaa.

Like a previous reviewer I bought this webcam for use on an old PC with XP. With my recent upgrade to Vista, I was upset to realise that neither Creative nor Vista plan to come up with any software to allow me to use this.... It's a shame, because this was a great webcam :(
Exellent with XP.......2007-12-14
I bought this cam originaly for Windows XP and the quality was good. I have just updated to windows Vista and this model can not be used withit. Vista and Creative dont support it. There are no new drivers planned for it. So if your planning to use this with vista at any time dont buy it.
