Superb Headphones.......2006-01-03
I use these headphones for work, and whilst the soundcap isn't quite as effective as on other Sony models (most specifically the DJ range) the sound quality is unparalleled.

I enjoy music a lot but since the kids came along I've rarely been able to play music past their bedtime. This has started me down the route of headphones and portable music. I have a small collection of cans at the moment, including three pairs of sonys, four seinheisers, bose triports and koss porta-pros.
Having enjoyed the power of my sony MDRV700's and looking for something more hifi orientated, I became interested in this latest offering from Sony.
I've come round to a way of thinking that more impressive sound is generated from large drivers (e.g. the 50mm units in the MDRV700) than smaller units in a clever housing (e.g. Bose Triports). The XD400's have large 50mm drivers - hence my interest in them.
I bought these headphones on the basis of reviews I'd read on the forums at head-fi.org and I was interested to see just how good they really were.
They are very good! very, very good!
Specifically, the detail is fantastic, the bass is low and controlled, they sound balanced and even at even moderate volumes and they are so easy to drive. I've been listening to them at home (they are too weird looking to wear outside) and found them to also be well made, lightweight and comfortable (the cord is material covered which is a nice touch).
I read comparisons of these to the MDRXD200's which people have also given rave reviews to. My comment is that I thought the XD200's were good, until I heard the XD400's. The difference is night and day! That said, the XD200's are a good can for their price and would also recommend tham at that price level, but if you have the money, the XD400's are worth every penny.

I bought this as a second cam for our other computer but was a bit disappointed with the picture quality.It also lags quite badly.Overall though can't complain too much as very cheap and easy to set up!

never had a webcam before so thought I start with a cheap and cheeful one..but even for the price I don't think the quality is all that good. It doesn't have a built in mic (that's probably my fault for not checking properly first to be fair). I cannot however now sign into msn messenger since installing it, so clearly not working as it should. Will probably buy a much better quality one with a built in mic within a couple of weeks. I would spend a bit more for a better quality one from the offset!

Well this is a good webcam for the money, mega easy to install and an ok piccy tho it does lag majorly, which is understandble i suppose.
I like it and would reccommend it, except as its stand alone, it can be hard to position so that it is facing you well. So i'm 50/50 on saying get this, i would get one with a clip even if it is more money, if I was going to buy another...

i bought this because i wanted a cheap webcam to use with msn.
Well fantastic delivery from amazon, the cam arrived today on my day off, and i started to set it up straight away.
The problem was that i tried to install the software and it didnt work, but, the second time i tried, it worked fine... so all is good and the cam is cute and good quality with a nice picture!
So only four stars due to a little mishap first time round, but otherwise its great!

i was a bit disapointed when i received the Logitech web cam and got it out of the box only to find that this model did not have a built in mic as advertised,but the webcam is a gem for the money but Amazon as always did there upmost to sort me a logetech with a mic and that is a good camera for the money,good on you Amazon
