Good value for money.......2005-08-11
Camera film ou CCDs are sensitive to UV rays, although they are invisible human eye. The result of UV radiation is that your image will look bluish and sharpless.
UV and skylight type filters can eliminate the lack of sharpness caused by UV radiation and can reduce distant haze (which is caused by dust particles in the air).
UV filters absorb UV light and are clear glasses. Skylight filters are coloured glasses and usually have a touch of pink. In addition to absorbing UV light, the pinkish colour of a Skylight filter can also counter the excessive blue colour of the sky in a sunny day and produce a warmish tone.
That's the case of Hama's filter. It is noticeable the improvement of the frames taken.
Altough you could spend more on reputable brands (like Tiffen), this has an excellent price/quality relation and I have no problem recommending it to amateur photographers.

For the £20.47p I paid on amazon I think these are a great little set of speakers for the money, if you ajust right the sound is good, I don't have the need to blast my sound so good enough for easily listening maybe not for heavy metal or rock etc, I'm happy with them and are still going strong after well over a year of daily use.

I dont think there worth the money. For what you get its rubbish. OK the sound is not terrible but its hardly great either. There more like a great set of 10pound speakers rather then quality 30-50 pound speakers. They look cheap to. They sound old and are not great for listening to music. Its worth spending 30mins or so looking at reviews in PC mags on the Internet then buy from amazon. You can get a lot better sound quality for your money then buying s200 speakers.
Do you just want good desktop home style speakers?.......2007-04-30
I bought these about 4 months ago and think theyre fantastic. If youve just got a home coputer na dwant these for general all round listening to theyre perfect. It comes with the added bonus of a sub woofer (the larger box that sits under the desk for bass) They are call neat speakers that fit on the desktop with the sub woofer at the bottom. The bass can be adjusted with the lower dial aswell so no fubling under the desk. I am ver pleased with them for the price and would reccomend them to anyone
Star speakers.......2007-04-27
wow? Are speakers suppose to sound great for such little money? I was surprised at the quailty of these!! ive heard other speakers around similar prices and they sound weak and awful! on these you get plenty of bass and the high end is nice, warm overall sound. Not the best in the world but for the price its a steal. As for build quailty, they are plastic but look fine :) they were smaller than I expected with a big sound! they don't go very high in volume but will do plenty enough to keep you happy :) if your one of those that really wants extra volume/power thats going to blast you, look at the next models up :)
Good but not amazing.......2007-03-08
I think these speakers give exactly what you paid for.
The first time you take it out of the box and set it up,you get a really tinny sounding sound which sounds like a load of pots and pans being banged together. You have to turn the base on the spaekers right up to get them sounding normal, this is a problem if you want to turn the base up because you cant!!!
Also the power cord is very short but all the other wires are fine and they haven't broken yet.
I think these speakers are not brilliant but they are a good replaycement for old of broken speakers.
