I bought these for my daughter to take with her when she goes travelling (again) and they are great little speakers for the price, okay, so they're not overlly powerful but they are perfectly adequate and very light and compact for travelling. Overall we're delighted with this purchase and Gizmo-deals (who I bought them) from are fantastic!!!!

Just what they claim to be........2007-12-29

Great little compact speakers, with the added advantage of being useable both mains and battery. Don't expect serious hi-fi sound at this price, (£6.99 including postage), but the sound is clear, sharp and surprisingly free of distortion when used with my Sansa e260. A bonus is the mains adapter which can also be used as a mains charger (by connecting the MP3's USB lead to it) - it works with both my Sansa and a friend's Creative Zen.....it is more than I expected.

I am very impressed with these speakers and I use them with my sandisk player. Bonus having the power adapter too. They perform 'just right' without deafening me whilst I am doing the pre-christmas decorating !

My children have also asked if I will buy some speakers for their mp3 players, given the good performance and price I will be purchasing some for them.

I also brought these speakers for my Ipod to take on holiday. They are incredibly good value for money, especially as they come with the mains charger, which I can also use to charge my Ipod!

The sound quality is great for such a small set. I was expecting them to sound tiny, but not at all. So I am looking forward to playing some tunes in the hotel before a night out!

I BOUGHT THESE FOR THE COLOUR TO MATCH MY IPOD AND FOR THEIR COMPACT SIZE TO EASILY PACK FOR MY HOLIDAYS. THE SOUND IS CLEAR AND ADEQUATE FOR HOLIDAY TO GET READY FOR A NIGHT OUT. For the price - its very good.......2008-01-05

I, like most, was a bit sceptical as to the quality of the kit at such a low price. However it does what it says on the box and has provided my wife with a convenient in car method of playing her music via the USB port using flash memory. The quality of music is good with some hiss in the background. I've ordered a second unit which I intend to use in the house with my hi fi system again using flash memory. It is very easy to set up.
My one complaint is the postal charges Amazon levy - however still good value I think.

A piece of rubbish.......2007-09-12

This is terrible piece of kit - I wanted to play music off my usb stick through it - but all you can hear is interference from the usb bus which is so load that it drowns out the music (tried multiple sticks and using a cable to connect - all the same). Also the channel select stopped working after using it twice. I never got as far as trying to use it to charge anything, but given its performance so far I'd rather not.

Utterly Fantastic........2007-08-30

Fill a flask stick with MP3s and plug and play! I own an 8gb pen, which when i'm on holiday i empty of all my uni work and fill with music, 8000 tracks!! These can come with remote controls (not this model) but is it realy nessessary? It costs an extra £15 odd and unless you drive your car from the back seat, you'll never use it, and i don't especialy want my passengers choosing the music!! So, for a couple of £, its a really great buy.

Good product and quick delivery. Very easy to set up. Only problem is you don't know what song is being played. Watch out for the £6 postage.

Not Compatible With Some Flash Memory.......2007-08-21

The seller tells me, apparently the device is not compatible with some memory sticks. It doen not work with both of the memory sticks that I have, a '2G Kingston Data Traveler' and a '2GB LG' Flash Memory. It does however work with a 1GB Kingston Data Traveler. Full credit to the seller, he offered a full refund...

I read the other reviews before purchasing, & these gave me the confidence to buy.
I can only confirm what the other reviewers have said, my only comment is that the sound is rather tinny, but this is to be expected of such small units I am pleased with the speakers.

I've always wanted a docking station for my Creative Zen Vision M, but they're all made for iPod. So, I decided to just buy a pair of speakers instead which I could plug my Zen into.

These speakers are absolutely perfect!

The speakers plug into the player's headphone socket. The sound is great... but the best thing of all is that these speakers have an adjustable 'tray' in which the Zen Vision M fits into perfectly! (Other players will fit too.)

I'd recommend these to any ZMN owner looking for a good quality speaker in which they can sit their player into... without it lying by the side of the speakers as is the case with other speaker systems.

Have to admit that when I purchased this item I wasn't sure whether it would be any good - but I am really surprised at the sound quality - for the size of the speakers it's great! Perfect for taking on holiday or out and about but I wouldn't use it in place of proper speakers at home as the sound quality is obviously not as good as a decent stereo. This one has a mains adapter with it as well as the battery option. I believe that it can also charge the ipod. This was a really good buy.
