these are probably the best sounding headphones i have used in a long while. i never use the pips any more because they fall out of my ears. these stay on and are not uncomfortable. They are very fiddly to get on but thats the price you pay for having them not fall off! they have good base and are not distorted in the top range like a lot of the small headphones out there. They have two sets of covers for the exterior so you can choose the colour to suit your mood. black or pearl would not have been my choice of colours though... they do tend to make my ears a little sore after about an hour of wearing them so very long sessions may become uncomfortable but this is a problem with all headphones. even the best ones. the cord is excellent and does not twist up like most do. it is made of some special plastic and seems to avoid twist. the only thing i am not sure of is replacement foam to cover the speakers, they are locked on at the edges and i dont know if you can replace them if they ever wear off. check this out if you are hard on your equipment.
overall a very happy customer and for £20 a steal.

Erm..... The phones are not what are advertised on the site, the phones advertised look sturdy and robust.The neck strap and ear straps are plastic and totally different to the picture advertised. The Sony MDR-Q25LP are flimbsy and light weight which means that they can move freely and not sit correctly on the ear. The sound quality is ok and not as good as other phones i've tried. Overall they're pretty average and over priced for the money, and they were almost 2 weeks late in being delivered to my door. Pretty poor to average in my opinion (but hey try for your self ad find out!).

Style icon or complete fool?.......2004-02-21

I bought a pair of these the other day. Problem is, I'm not sure if I look like a complete fool in them or whether I look quite stylish.

Quality wise, they're the best headphones I've had, although they aren't as loud as I hoped (it might have been the minidisc I was listening to). Sound is clear as it can be, with quite a bit of bass. Although the manufacturers describe then as minimising sound leakage, there is quite a bit, which could be annoying for other people.

Clip on side bits are great to tailor your headphones to your outfit, but can be fiddly to replace.

Overall, really good headphones, but a case of try-before-you-buy to make sure they suit you.

They sound good, look good and are very comfortable - all you could ever want with clip-on headphones.

The only bad side is that volume control is not provided, but what do you expect for this kind of price?

I got these headphones a while ago...and they have been around my neck ever since! They can handle my MP3 player at top volume without a trace of distortion and then pick up the gentle, subtle tones with no complaint, the bass is astounding for such small headphones, I should know, I have been through my share of headphones in the past.

These Headphones are perfect if you find in ear headphones uncomfortable or want a more powerful but crisper sound than the smaller drive units can provide.

One minor quibble however, they have made me antisocial and slightly deaf...but maybe that’s just me...

A Product any music fan who wants to listen to their music loud, comfortable and in near perfect quality can't do without!
