Reviews The MP3 FM modulator is a revolutionary development in in-car entertainment. Simply connect the FM transmitter to your car cigarette adapter and listen to your favourite music tracks through your car stereo directly from your personal music player or transform your USB flash memory stick into an MP3 player. The transmitter offers compatibility with a wide range of portable audio devices. Using the 3.5mm audio cable (included) you can connect almost all personal music devices such as iPod, MP3 players, personal CD players and many more. The transmitter can also be used to play music files directly from a USB flash memory stick/drive. Simply load your favourite music files onto the memory stick/drive and connect this directly to the transmitter via the integrated USB port. You have now converted a simple flash memory stick into an in-car MP3 player which you can control with the buttons to play, stop and skip music tracks with ease. The transmitter also offers a charging function if your personal music device can be charged via USB connection. Use the USB port on the transmitter to charge your music player providing you have the USB cable for the device. If you have an iPod you can charge it via the USB connection, however, you cannot play music whilst charging.

For the price - its very good.......2008-01-05

I, like most, was a bit sceptical as to the quality of the kit at such a low price. However it does what it says on the box and has provided my wife with a convenient in car method of playing her music via the USB port using flash memory. The quality of music is good with some hiss in the background. I've ordered a second unit which I intend to use in the house with my hi fi system again using flash memory. It is very easy to set up.
My one complaint is the postal charges Amazon levy - however still good value I think.

A piece of rubbish.......2007-09-12

This is terrible piece of kit - I wanted to play music off my usb stick through it - but all you can hear is interference from the usb bus which is so load that it drowns out the music (tried multiple sticks and using a cable to connect - all the same). Also the channel select stopped working after using it twice. I never got as far as trying to use it to charge anything, but given its performance so far I'd rather not.

Utterly Fantastic........2007-08-30

Fill a flask stick with MP3s and plug and play! I own an 8gb pen, which when i'm on holiday i empty of all my uni work and fill with music, 8000 tracks!! These can come with remote controls (not this model) but is it realy nessessary? It costs an extra £15 odd and unless you drive your car from the back seat, you'll never use it, and i don't especialy want my passengers choosing the music!! So, for a couple of £, its a really great buy.

Good product and quick delivery. Very easy to set up. Only problem is you don't know what song is being played. Watch out for the £6 postage.

Not Compatible With Some Flash Memory.......2007-08-21

The seller tells me, apparently the device is not compatible with some memory sticks. It doen not work with both of the memory sticks that I have, a '2G Kingston Data Traveler' and a '2GB LG' Flash Memory. It does however work with a 1GB Kingston Data Traveler. Full credit to the seller, he offered a full refund...
