Does the job - with a PC too.......2007-06-19
For occasional and mobile recording, this device does the job quite well. Its not the most comfortable solution though - so I doubt you would choose it for daily use. I have plugged it in to my Olympus voice recorder and directly into my laptop for recording - both work fine. It sits OK under my telephone headset too. Came with 3 rubber ear inserts of different sizes. Its fitted with a mono 3.5mm miniplug but adapters for stereo 3.5mm and mono 2.5mm were also supplied with mine.

problem solved.......2007-12-30
Thanks to son - in- law we have entered the 21st. century.
We have discovered what the 'extra' cable in the box is, and how to use it.- although it is not mentioned in the User guide.
There is now no problem viewing from a memory stick which came below the level of the frame so preventing the picture frame from standing.
It is a USB adapter cable!!
We are now very satisfied with the product and are enjoying sharing folders and files from recent holidays with friends.
Frustrating. But OK. .......2007-12-18
OK the bad news. MS probably means Marks and Sparks - cos it sure don't mean Memory stick. Since I got it for my Mum who has both a camera and a phone that use MS this is a bit of a draw back. I can't get any pictures onto the SD card I bought to do that with (my problem not the frame) so it could be a fault with the frame since it won't eject cards either. Either way it's not the greatest start....
BUT
Power it up with a USB drive in it and it's off and jogging in a few seconds. No it doesn't like full sized drives but I've a small 256mb one that's just the ticket. Yeah you can play with the pictures to make them fit better but my sixty somthing Mum ain't going to bother and the pictures acceptable without spending hours with a picture converter. You can change the surround in about a second and it's pretty idiot proof. Just don't rely on the card support.
The picky bit is that the manuals about five pages and the guarentee is twenty odd. I know it's simple but a page and a half on plugging it in?
If anyone from Agfa is reading this as a new feature why not offer an option to copy from card to card? Plenty of folks have USB drives but would get a card for the slot for this. This takes the hassle out of fighting your PC for card readers etc.
Overall - good. I know Mum will go "awww" on Christmas day as her grandchildren scan past her and know that if she wants to add to the show she can easily - thats what I wanted.
Easy No Fuss Frame.......2007-12-18
I bought this frame for my husband as a xmas present from the kids.
Didn't have to set anything up or resize photos (I chose all landscape ones but there is a rotate function) saved our favourite family photos to an SD card, put the card in the frame and it was up and running straight away. Decent quality picture and no black borders if you stick to landscape photos.
No fuss, no bother.
Going to get one each the same for my mam and my in laws.
Nice uncomplicated frame.......2007-12-11
I have just bought one of these as a Christmas present for the in-laws. I am sure they will forgive me when I say they aren't the most technically minded, so I was looking for something easy to operate and this frame is perfect.
The resolution is much the same as any 7" frame in this price bracket so no complaints there. It has a very handy remote control for all the operations, you can even turn the frame off with the remote and when you put it back on it will resume from the next photo.
The one thing I wish these frames did was a random (shuffle) slide show, no frames in this price bracket offer that feature though so I can't mark it down for that.
One area which I did mark it down though was this. The frame quotes a resolution of 480 x 234 pixels - I resized my pictures to 480 x 234 but when they were displayed they had black bands top and bottom. After much experimenting I found 480 x 270 worked perfect. This is actually at a ratio of 16:9 which was also mentioned on the box. A little more information in this area would have been appreciated.
To summarise - I am very pleased with the display quality and especially the user friendly interface.

Brilliant bit of Kit.......2007-11-27
This does exactly what it says on the tin. It's brilliant. It's loud and the sound is brilliant. I don't use my stereo in the house anymore I just use this. It's easy to use, it's brilliant to take on holiday as well. Money well spent!!!
Oh dear!!!.......2007-08-05
I had 2 Logic3 i-station 7 and sent both of them back!! The sound quality when the machine was down low was awful - I thought the machine was faulty - the back speaker just crackled and it was really off putting. So I sent it back, but the next machine had the same problem - so I concluded it was the machine not a fault. I then discovered that if you are listening to classical music and there is a silent space or very quiet music, the machine turns itself off (it does come back on again) but this was very annoying. It also came with a huge power pack that was very heavy and bulky. The only plus points was that it looked nice, was compact and folded up for travelling. I would strongly recommend you look at other machines, as for the same sort of price you can get far superior sound quality - I ended up buying the LOGITECH - which I love and is much better and cost about the same!
Good or Bad? Its Horses for Courses.......2007-03-29
My daughter wanted a speaker system for her ipod nano and we did the usual shoping around on line. Not for the first time we ended back where we had started, Amazon.
I knew a little about them because we bought one for my wife's ipod just a few months ago and we spent a lot of time looking at reviews back then. We spent £150 on an Altec Lansing IM7 (again from Amazon)and its superb. My view is, if you want a serious piece of kit that can deliver high quality sound, spend a litle more.
That said, my daughter is really happy with her Logic3. She wanted something small to keep on her dressing table and this certainly fits the bill. It can run on batteries as well as the mains and its small enough to carry about, e.g. on holiday.
Previous buyers have posted mixed reviews on the quality of the sound this unit delivers. I wasn't at all surprised, given the low cost of the Logic3 that the sound isn't great. It's a bit on the tinny side, more so when you turn up the volume.
My opninon is its horses for courses. For my 12 yo daughter, as bedroom speakers for her ipod, it does the trick and I'm happy because she's happy.
Design flaw limits use.......2007-01-16
This product is compact and sounds good for its size. It has a feature that automatically switches to standby after 30 seconds of no sound. Unfortunately no sound also includes quiet tracks on classical and jazz recordings. Basically it kept switching itself off in the middle of tracks and speech recordings, so we sent it back and have bought something else instead. Logic3 suggested we bought MIP106, the previous version which had a 3 minute switch off time. So why did they change it? In fact why have a secondary feature that prevents the main functionality from working properly?
Fantastic! Worth buying! Great sound!.......2007-01-02
I bought these speakers based on a recommendation from a friend and wasn't disappointed! The speakers are great, the quality of sound is v good and the look good and are great for when on holiday! The clear plastic cover keeps everything safe and protected! When clicking through songs on your i-pod, the speakers make a little 'searching noise' but it's not annoying or too loud. Great buy!
Customer Reviews:
FANTASTIC!!!.......2008-01-09
After having a right nightmare with the previous digital photoframe i bought (NIX 7", read my other review)i have finally found this Philips one which is simply IDEAL!
Incredible contrast ratio and resolution, it is EXACTLY as the picture displayed in amazon!!! THe price is extremely competitive too, and the frame is SLICK and STYLISH!!! 10/10, the functionality is awesome and it all comes explained in detail in the useful instructions manual!
It also does not boast the brand like the Samsung does with the writing along the frame which just ruins the whole thing... this one is elegant and smart! i love it!
10/10!
NOT AS DESCRIBED.......2008-01-08
Please note that this item definitely does NOT come with four swappable frames. I have contacted Amazon about this and they really don't care. They cannot be bothered to describe this item accurately.
Please do NOT order this item if you are not happy with the black surround as it cannot be changed.
Amazon will NOT assist you in obtaining swappable covers for this item.
Cost-cutting madness.......2008-01-07
I bought one of these just before Christmas for £130 from PC World, I was very impressed by the picture quality, and the overall appearance of the frame. I think it's one of the best looking frames available.
I was disappointed by the quality of the card reader built-in to the frame. I am used to a good quality mechanism in my camera for inserting/ejecting the memory card. However, presumably for no other reason than shaving a few pence off the manufacturing cost, the card slot is a let down. It is stiff, and gives no easy eject function. Come on Phillips- sort it out!
My frame was faulty as the card reader only worked about 50% of the time, so I have returned it today. Apparently there have been a number returned to PC World with this same problem, presumably a dodgy batch.
However, if you can accept the poor memory card slot, then this is a great frame. I'm sure I'm just unlucky to get a faulty one. I'm seeing it as a blessing in disguise- I've got my £130 back from PC World and am now going to buy one from Amazon for £85. Bargain!
A great choice.......2008-01-06
I looked around for a digital photo frame and picked this one because of the brand name and the fact it looks good. I am very pleased, image quality is excellent and the screen is very bright. My pc (windows XP) recognised it when I connected it and I was able to transfer pictures to it easily. It accepts a variety of memory cards, and the pictures needed no modification to them (e.g. aspect ratio) to display perfectly
As per other reviews it doesnt have swappable colour frame (there is only one and it is black) and there is no internal battery. If you want a no fuss digital photo frame this is a great choice. It doesnt have features such as video and speakers that you likely wouldnt use anyway. Also it has no internal battery, it needs to be plugged in.
Finally, a nice feauture I like is the ability to program a time for it to turn on and off. No point in having it going during the night for example
Good display quality.......2008-01-04
If you want a good value picture frame with a high quality display (720x480) and can cope without extras such as video display, swappable frames and battery backup this is a good product. Onboard memory is limited so get a 1GB memory card to store lots of pictures.

Customer Reviews:
Good but not perfect.......2007-12-14
Really good picture quality, very slightly pixelated but it all really depends on the quality of the picture you have taken, scanned pics dont tend to look too good, however pics from a digital camera look brilliant.
The lack of instructions makes putting videos onto the frame tricky (however somehow i managed to get some on by sheer luck).
I would definitely buy another one and have recommended this frame to several people.
Lack of information prevents informed choice.......2007-11-19
I could find no mention of the actual image resolution (how sharp it is) but the product description says "Pictures and videos are brilliant and sharp on the widescreen LCD". I tried hard to find resolution data, even on the Kodak site, with no luck.
Turns out the picture quality is awful. It is very pixelated. My mobile phone has a far better resolution. I would say the pixels on the screen are about 1mm square. I can see the pixels from about 2ft away. Anything closer and it looks like an old arcade game image.
It is not clear if there is internal memory in this frame, there isn't.
The frame is nice, clean and modern looking.
The buttons on the back feel very cheap and more often than not do not respond when you press them. I don't think it is a fault, just badly designed. The remote control shelf on the back doesn't attach as the points are the wrong size.
You can buy a large high resolution monitor for £100 these days. There is no way such poor image quality is worth the £70 I regret paying for this. Surely picture quality should be the main concern of a frame designed to display pictures?
Kodak easyshare 7" digital photo frame.......2007-11-15
After spending weeks reading reviews on various digital photo frames I decided to give this one a try. It's very easy to use, just insert your SD card in to the back and off you go. I had been concerned about buying a frame which was very blurred up close but although you can see some of the pixels when you study it very closely it really isn't an issue, besides realistically, anyone viewing it will be standing back a little bit anyway. The picture is great and the colour is very good and you also have the option of changing the brightness. It comes with a remote control which you can use to delete photo's etc. Anyone who is considering buying a digital frame and have the same reservations I had should at least give this one a try. I was buying it as a Christmas present for my daughter but was so happy with it I ended up buying another one for myself.
Easy to use.......2007-11-14
Easy to use and works reliably. The resolution is only 480x270 so pixellation is visible. Timed switch-on/switch-off, transitions, and timed interval slide show from 3 sec to 1 hour but no random sequence slide show.
Impressed........2007-10-04
I brought this as a present for a friend, having not seen one working before and not quite know what too expect. it is easy to set up, and picture is clear. Would recommend it.

Fantastic.......2008-01-16
I have several Canon Digital and non digital SLR's. In March I was attracted to buying a non SLR for ease of carrying and with the intention of having it with me at all times. I was surprised by the image quality and ease of use. It is very easy to turn the flash on and off which can be a great help. Unfortunately my wife spotted it and now I hardly get a look in. She loves it and takes great pictures with it. The viewfinder is handy but we've never needed it as the screen seems visible in sunshine and the battery lasts at least for a day's shooting.
I am so pleased with it and as value for money it beats every other camera I've ever owned and there have been a few.
The flash has a limited range (about 6 feet) so beware of that.
Thoroughly recommended as a main camera, an everyday camera or as a back up to more expensive kit.
A Gem!.......2008-01-02
I'm travelling Europe for 3/4 months and want to have plenty of photos to remember it by. I therefore spent a month researching as many cameras as possible to make sure I got the right one. This is the camera I decided upon and I'm glad I did.
Pros:
- The camera is small and sturdy, being made of metal. If you drop it you're more likely to damage the ground than the camera.
- The interface is easy to use; I was able to pick it up and use it without reading the manuals.
- There is a viewfinder. You can switch off the LCD screen and use the view finder to save power.
- Plenty of shooting modes including a great macro mode.
- The movies are great quality and the sound is crisp and clean.
- The camera is responsive and has a nice shutter speed to make up for the lack of anti-blur.
- The zoom feature is easy to use, and being optical the pictures don't end up grainy.
Cons:
- Lack of anti blur.
- Face detect doesn't work all the time, but it's not too big a deal.
- The included memory card is only 32mb so you'll need to buy a new one.
I'd like to note that I bought this camera without realising that the battery was li-ion. I was worried about how I might charge it in Europe but to my delight I discovered that the charger comes with a European plug as well. With the Amazon price being £80/90 cheaper than it is in the shops I think that you owe it to yourself to buy one.
Super Camera.......2008-01-02
I ordered this camera with a 2GB SD card with Christmas money, it came today and I have had a play around to familiarise myself with all of it's features. It is easy to use, takes fantastic pictures, compact and the features are great. The image stabilizer is great so you don't have to worry about a child or a pet suddenly moving just as you take the picture and the colour accent feature is very nice.

Works Well but my photos are not widescreen.......2008-01-14
I bought this for my father and it works well, it auto starts without having to press any buttons and the pictures look good.
Pity it does not connect via USB, I had to load up the SD memory card via my camera but thats not a big problem.
Two main negative points; the screen is like 16:9 widescreen and so even though it is 7", it is quite narrow so standard photos don't fit well. Portrait photos are limited in size by the low height of the screen, and landscape photos don't fill out the full width of the screen, so in future I will look for a more square screen format. The other point; there is no random mode so each time it is switched on, the photos display in the same order. Otherwise, I am well pleased and feel it is good value for money.
I was not as impressed.......2007-12-26
I agree with the other posters that this frame looked great out of the box. But mine would not interface with the memory stick unless connected through the extension cable. And the stand seemed to be missing a part and does not work at all. It seems that the screw is much smaller than the hole it is intended in going to. The frame is not much use laying on my desk.
A nice product - The AMT 7" Alloy Black satisfies........2007-12-21
I spent some time looking at various photoframes at the usual high street outlets. I didn't want to overspend. I bought the ATMT 7" Alloy Black after reading the previous review. I am very pleased with the product. Especially so as I bought the frame as a Christmas gift for my father who is a little picky and difficult to choose for. The Black Alloy finish of the surround is nice, looking even better in real life than in the product photo.
It will look great in my fathers home.
Great Christmas Present! .......2007-12-15
I got this frame as the ALLOY part of the product appealed to me, compared to the usual "Plastic" frame you get out there this is amazing. It makes a difference as it feels heavier and of a better build. Also this looks different to the millions of others available in the stores at the moment. Works brililantlly, manual could have been better, but on the whole easy to use and operate! Great buy, Great Xmas present!

Ok for a cheap photo frame.......2008-01-15
This digital frame looks ok, nothing to shout about, fits most memory cards so is good along with the slideshow feature.
You cannot rotate your pictures so some will appear on their side depending on how you took them.
Big let down is it has no built in memeory so you cant upload directly from your computer.
Cheap and cheerful.......2008-01-15
Got the frame as a pressie so can't complain to much but am disappointed that it won't show any more than about 8 or 9 photos before it cycles back to the start. Tried 3 different cards but just the same, fustrating.
means the world to me.......2008-01-15
unfortunatly my son died really unexpectedly just before christmas, he had already given me my present, when I opened it, it was the Yuraku photo frame, I have put 209 photos on it from when he was baby to the week he died, I wouldn't swap it for the world, the photos are clear although most do not take up the full screen, I couldn't care less, I will treasure it, and it is a great comfort to see it with his photos everytime I look at it,
Cheap photo frame- could perform better........2007-12-29
For the money it's ok, picture could be clearer. But main gripe is that it's supposed to have a variable time on it's slide show, but just goes back to 15 seconds whenever it feels like it. I bought 2 for xmas presents and they both did this.
Cheap and cheerful.......2007-12-23
First of all, why are all of the cheap frames 16:9 aspect ratio when all digital cameras take their photos in 4:3? I'd kind of resigned myself to this, as all of the 4:3 frames were well over my budget, but it's still irritating. Cropping loses a fair chunk off the top and bottom of each picture - fine on most, but you lose important detail on some and it's useless for rendering portrait images (you lose most of the top and bottom as it stretches the image to reach the sides.) Turning off cropping means you have black bars on either side of the screen. Presumably it means that portrait images work correctly though (I haven't tried it yet.)
I bought this for my mother, so she can have a slideshow of pictures of her grandson. I've taken it out of the box and loaded a spare SD card with loads of pictures to see how it goes. We already have a 4:3 aspect one from last Christmas that cost £100. I'd expected things to have improved a bit, but our old one is superior to this in almost every respect.
Picture quality could be better, but it's certainly adequate. Close-up, there's a hint of flicker and you can even occasionally see the scan lines (I think it's interlacing the picture, and not as a particularly high refresh rate either.) But from the distance it's likely to be viewed from, it's fine.
The only real annoyance is that, having loaded an SD card with about 300 pictures and stuck it in the slot, I find that it doesn't show the images in order. It's not even random either - it starts from the beginning, but every so often seems to skip back and show a picture that it's already done. Having let it cycle through, it seems to get to about half way through the photos I've put on it, and then go straight back to the beginning. I'm obviously going to have to put a lot less pictures on the card.
I think I'd go with the sentiments of others in that it does the job, just about, but if your budget will stretch to a better model, go for it.
