The camera arrived in good packaging. I was surprised how cute it was, the colour is a divine hot pink! There were no faults, so the delivery proved to be a success. In the box i found many things, including a usb plug and a plug that can connect to the television- so you can view your pictures on bigscreen!
I found that the camera takes better pictures when on flash and under a good light.
Great for taking pictures when going out, or on holiday.
I'm really pleased as it was a good product for a good price!

A cracking little camera for the money, but be aware, it isn't just the lighting on the photo. The "red" A460 is pink. Pink, pink, pink, pink, pink. Hot pink. Quite fetching, but not exactly manly. Be aware!

Does everything you want a cheapish digital camera to do. Only downsides are - battery life - you'll have to get yourself some rechargeables or you'll forever be buying and replacing AA's; and build quality - some of the plastics used on the casing feel a little cheap - I don't know how likely this is to stand up to physical abuse by children, but I guess we're about to find out...
Photos produced are great - good colours, and using the SCN feature with child/ pet mode means that smaller photographers who are learning to squeeze the shutter rather than press it and generate camera shake can take slightly crisper photos...
A good range of manual and automatic modes, with an easy flash / fill in flash / no flash button....

Bought this new model as my first digital camera and boy, am I impressed, this is an excellent camera! It comes in a range of colours (red, blue or silver) and the pack includes AA batteries, wrist strap, memory card (only 16MB - I recommend you purchase a 1Gb card as you'll want to take loads of pics & video clips with this), cable to connect to the tv, camera to computer USB cable, basic camera user guide, advanced camera user guide + software to edit your photos from your computer. Digital cameras use alot of power so I recommend you invest in a battery charger & rechargeable AA batteries for this camera. The new A460 camera (replacing the previous A430)has a 2 inch LCD screen, 5MP, 4x optical zoom & movies with sound. Images are excellent-even in low light using the auto flash (which you can override). Colours, contrast, detailed pictures are all superb. Focusing is extremely quick and accurate with a green square(s) appearing on the LCD screen to show you what is being focused on before the picture is taken. You can use the Auto mode if you prefer for the camera to automatically select settings and just point and shoot or there are loads of manual settings you can select and play around with for those who are more adventurous. The software supplied is very easy to use and its amazing how you can edit your photos. A great site for printing your photos is PhotoBox - as a new customer and applying via Amazon I got 90 free prints! I researched many different camera review sites before deciding on this camera (camera.co.uk is an excellent site - although the existing review is on the previous Canon A430). This is an excellent camera at a great price, I'm 100% happy with my new toy - highly recommended!

A bit disappointed. .......2007-12-11
I own two similar drives already, the silver 80GB one and the black 160GB one. I've never had any issues with those over the past year and a half. So I got this one to accommodate my ever growing music collection. After copying about 100GB onto it it decides to mess up. First it refuses to let me do anything (thought at first there may be a problem with some of my files, but it wouldn't let me delete them either). I disconnect the drive and reconnect it and while it still tells me that there are over 100GB in use I can suddenly only access about 5GB of my collection - the rest has miraculously disappeared. Formatting wouldn't work at first either, but now it's doing just that. There is hope that it'll work again after formatting. I've had such great experiences with my other drives, I really hope this won't be a total letdown. But, since I can no longer trust this drive to keep my music safely, I will now have to buy yet another drive (maybe not WD this time) for backup.

I bought one of these and it suddenly stopped working after a few weeks - despite the fact that I took great care with it. I have spoken to three seperate people who had the same experience. Whatever you do, don't buy Western Digital's products. You may be very happy with them for a while, but you will be pulling your hair out in frustration several months later. why do people bother with Ipods ??.......2007-12-27
I never got it... Ipods are very un-unser friendly to fill with music (you MUST have Itunes to do it and the smaller players don't even come with a disk!!) and the actual use is just OK. They are just trendy, nothing more. Creative Zens, however, are just as good (if not better) and don't need special software to work. Just use your windows XP to "send to" the device and you are away. When considering Ipods, you are paying for the trend. Now use your head instead of your ego - Get a Zen.

Sleek little Stone.......2007-07-18
This was purchased as a temporary replacement for my Zen Micro while it's being (hopefully) repaired by Creative and so far so good. It's certainly extremely small and lightweight however I must admit to wondering about its overall build strength and ability to take the occasional knock. Battery life appears better than average (maybe the last reviewer didn't fully charge the player before using it therefore shortening the battery's memory?) and the volume perfectly adequate. I haven't used the supplied earphones since I dislike the inner ear kind and would rather use larger and more expensive headphones. Its controls are certainly simplistic and rather than creating playlists, you merely create folders which the player goes through in turn. There is a shuffle option which I would have liked to somehow randomly play the songs within each individual folder but it appears to shuffle all songs within all folders, meaning you're as likely to get Metallica next to Madonna as you are next to Marilyn Manson!
I only ever choose MP3/WMA format players as you can usually just copy and paste music files into the devices or simply use them purely as removable storage. I've never been too sure why people rave so much over Apple products since I personally think their transfer software is vile to use and the players themselves of only average quality. Thankfully, unlike the two Philips MP3 players I've temporarily had, the Zen Stone has been flawless at connecting to my computer, the Creative Lite software very intuitive to use and it seems to play all music files regardless of which download site they came from.
I'm not entirely sure what I'll do with it once (or if!) my bigger Zen Micro comes back from Creative, whether it'll go back in the box or whether it'll even supersede its bigger brother. Not quite a five star product due to its obvious limitations, but for those looking to take their music on the move without attracting unwelcome attention, it comes highly recommended and at half the price of the iPod shuffle.
Better than the shuffle?.......2007-06-08
This player is obviously designed to rival the ipod shuffle. I bought it, mainly because it is nearly half the price of it's apple counterpart.
For something so small, it sounds amazing!! The sound is very rich with clear base and treble tones. I used my sennheiser headphones with it and it sounds the same as my ipod nano! It looks great, and the controls are perfect even for bigger hands.
It doesn't come with any software, because it is a simple drag and drop. however you can go onto creative's website and download software to rip cd's into mp3's. You can also use this to transport documents, photo's etc as it doubles as a USB flash drive.
This is a great player, if you want something light (possibly for use during exercise) and don't want a screen. The ipod shuffle offers nothing different to this except for a flimsy clip!

My TV recently stopped working and I'm considering this TV as a replacement. I have two questions though; firstly does this come with a warranty and how long does it last (I've noticed quite a few don't come with one)? secondly, this TV does not have a scart socket? I have a 360 and a DVD player who (used to) share one Scart socket on my old SD TV so it would be more convinient if there was either 2 scarts or at least 1 scart and 1 HDMI socket (HD one for the 360 and the scart for the DVD). Or will I have to keep switching between the two as I used to do? Thanks in advance

The picture could be a little better, as with the sound too. Other than that it does it's job for the price! Great for the 360 as everyone is aware! In regard to your question P Lindsay, you do not get sound through the vga cable itself you have to plug the stereo phono connecters into the back of your tv, or an amplifier. Check xbox/tv settings for sound if you've already done that.

After reading previous reviews with regard to xbox360 connectivity, I purchased the HD VGA cable. The clarity of the graphics from the xbox360 is now great but the colours look "washed out". I've tried changing the reference levels within the display settings on the xbox360 and the colour settings on the TV to no avail. Do any xbox360 users with this tv have any suggestions for better colour?

When I first got this TV I had some of the problems mentioned above, poor picture quality etc. The one mistake I had made was not changing the settings on my digital Tv box and DVD player. These must be set so the output from each is 16:9 widescreen and not 4:3 normal TV. Once this has been done. The picture for both DVD and Digital TV is great. I am very pleased with it.

I bought the system to accompany my new Dell computer because i was told that they were fantastic by a friend. Having used them for about 2 months i must admit im not disappointed at all with my purchase. The sound quality and bass is very very good given the size of the system. I would definately recommend them to anyone looking to purchase 2.1 speakers to use with their comp or their ipod. The red colour in the jbl speakers is actually much nicer than the variations even though its cheaper! perhaps worth some consideration...
