These speakers have a good quality of sound, but they are not able to handle loud-ish bass lines and will start crackling. It's a shame because they handle sound very well up to a point. I just don't understand why sony enabled the speakers to go allot louder than what they can actually handle.

Just got a pair of these to use the bluetooth functionality with my laptop. I managed to compare them with the parrot party speakers in a shop and these really are much better sounding - coping with bass very well with no distortion even at high volume. Very good especially for a small set of speakers.
Bluetooth pairing was a snap and I have not experienced any stuttering or connection problems (although I am only using them about 2 meters away, so greater distances may cause problems).
The size is is pretty good I was a bit concerned that they would take up too much space but they are unobtrusive, and have a relatively small footprint. The backlit green powerlight and bluetooth led are a nice touch unlike some others don't flash or change colour or anything stupid and distracting.
Good buy for the price, glad I got these over the parrot party and gear4 blackbox, both of which I considered.
Sound on the go without wires.......2007-05-15
This little unit sits great on my desk at work or in the kitchen at home. It is small enough to transport around and works great with my mobile phone. The sound is superb from such a small compact unit which was suprising but at the price you would expect some quality and you do get it. I have had no compatability issues with other phones which was my initial concern and the sound is clear and loud at maximum volume. Anyone who has Sony's bluetooth headsets will know that the pairing of devices is simple and quick. Highly recommended.

compact unit - excellent sound quality & value for money!!!.......2007-12-28
My husband has been very lucky this christmas! I purchased this as a last minute gift, as he spends many hours on the road.... It is a very cute little unit - very easy to pair with up to 5 phones (we have 3 on it already) and tremendously easy to use/answer calls. I believe there are newer units available from Sony Ericsson, but this must be one of the best you can get for around £45... Cheaper than being fined for using a mobile without handsfree too!

I have only had my HCB-100 for a couple of days ... and I have to say, I'm impressed ... battery life seems to be pretty good ... all the controls are fairly intuative and I was up and running within a couple of mins (after first charging for 4 hours).
If you also take into account that the unit is supplied with a cigar lighter charger which would normally retail at £15+ ... this is a bit of a bargain.
It seems to be equally at home in the office as a speaker phone. I have mine on all the time.
I would have given it 5 stars if sound quality had been a little better ... don't get me wrong ... it is fine ... but could be better.
The only problem you do face with these sun-visor clipped items is at this time of the year when the sun is low and you tend to move the visor around more often. I had problems on a recent trip (east to west) Ideally these things are best located on a closed visor.
I have a couple of motorola bluetooth headsets ... 810 and 850 ... overall ... I would rather use the HCB-100.

I recieved the speakers very quickly and they were amazingly good quality for such small speakers and packed a punch. A lot more powerful than my speaker on my phone. But after a week one of the speakers broke. Now only 1 works so the quality isnt the same :(. These speakers are great and i would advise buying them bt be careful with them.

i ordered the white mps60 speakers for £9 and was sent these black and orange speakers (bonus) they match my w610i perfectly and the sound is very good for such a small speaker.

I was a bit wary about ordering these speakers as I couldn't find any reviews on them anywhere. However, I decided to go ahead and order them anyway and I'm very pleased I did!! I bought them so that I could listen to my W880i around the house, while I'm at work, when I'm on holiday - whenever really. The speakers simply plug into where your charger adapter would go and then you just play your music. I think the speaker on the phone is rubbish but with the external speakers added the sound has much more base. It sounds gr8!! They are so small as well you could easily carry them around in your pocket although they do come in rather a nice plastic carry case! If you're thinking about buying them - go do it!!

Just got the Visorblade a few days ago. Ready straight out of the box. I connected to my phone ( Samsung G600 ) with no problems. Fitted onto cars sun visor with metal clip, which can be left in place, and Visorblade held there by a couple of strong magnets. It feels safe, and won't come off and kill you if you corner too fast. The small lights which show it's status, are not distracting. I rate it. The mic is a bit tinny, but most of this size are. It's got plenty of volume though, and you should not miss a conversation. My natural instict is to raise my voice to speak to it, and I have been told not to shout. So yes, it's good for the money.

Easy to use and good sound quality.......2007-09-20
We have two of these in our household and now I have just placed another order for a third for a friend. The Visorblade is very easy to set up and gives good sound quality in the car. It can be used with any bluetooth phone either with voice recognition or without. If you do not have voice recognition on your phone, it is not quite as easy as you still need to dial out from your handset, but receiving calls is no problem. You can set up the Visorblade to recognise more than one phone, so if you need to lend it to someone else with a bluetooth phone, you can do so and still keep your own phone recognised by the kit. Once you have set your phone into it, it comes with a strong magnetic clip which can be attached to the visor in your car. The kit then goes onto that, there is nothing else you need to do. The kit is battery operated and it comes with an in car charger as well as a mains charger. If you remember to turn it off when you are out of the car, the battery lasts for ages, but if it does run out, the in car charger takes care of it for you. As there are no wires that need fixing in the car, it is a simple matter to change it to another car if you need to. The visorblade retails at twice the price on some other websites (this product also known as Supertooth II), I originally paid £80 for this same kit from the Carphone Warehouse, so I am delighted to see it for half the price on Amazon. After I placed my order with Amazon, it took a day or so for Amazon to acknowledge the order, but I did not get any dispatch advice from Totallymobile. However the kit arrived by registered post a day or so later, so I would state that service from Totallymobile is pretty good.

I have found this hands free kit to be awesome. It is extremely simple to install, just a case of holding a button down and discovering it with your phone. It also seems to work with every phone I have tried it with (LG Chocolate, Samsung D600, Motorola V3, XDA Exec, XDA 2, MDA Compact, Samsung E720), so there is a good chance it will work with most.
The sound quality is excellent, however you will sometimes get a background noise, be assured that this is your phone, not this kit, as it is the same noise you get from a headset.
The only two slight gripes I have is that it is near impossible to wear a baseball cap and use this due to the protuding microphone (!!) and that the makers logo rubs off after use. However, I purchased this for about £80 when the laws re: calls in car had just came in, use it regularly, and have had no real problems.

I have had a few handsfree kits in my time but none even come close to this one,
1) you can clip this to the car visor on either the passenger or drivers side and still speak and hear crystal clarity (it also filters out other noise and enhances voice)
2) easy to setup via your mobile just go to bluetooth and search for device whilst on - found.
3) lets you know when connected to bluetooth, lets you know when battery low and can disconnect call from visorblade.
4) can auto answer
5) has volume control which can go very loud with awesome clarity.
If thats not good enough for you then also battery last for ages.
