Perfect burn every time...........2006-07-05

Contrary to the experience of the first reviewer, I have had a 100% sucess rate with the 100 disks (2 packs) I have ordered. Any misburns I have had have been due to my drive's mechanical failure, and has simply required a restart to correct. These disks burn well at 8x, and simply put are the best I've found for the price. I am so pleased with the quality of these disks I am ordering another 2 packs.

Worst discs I have ever bought.......2006-05-26

These discs are a complete nightmare. I bought a 100 disc spindle and they have turned out to be the worst discs I have ever used.

I have a Lite-On SHOW-1633S DVD re-writer and at 8x speed many of the discs have failed. I updated the firmware and the problem still persists. Please note I have been using this drive for nearly two years and I have and still use many types of media (Vebatim, Memorex, RiDisc... etc.) Before buying these disc I had only TWO coasters during the whole life of the drive. However, since using these discs I have had a failure rate of 50% (not joking.)

I can still work perfectly well with any other disc but these discs just don't work at 8x. At 4x speed I have never had a failure. Forgive me though, when the disc says 8x, I assume it can do what it says on the box.

Please go for any other brand (other media ID.) These imation discs have not worked for me.

Good stable general purpose disc.......2007-05-17

Just about to order my second batch of 50, previous to these discs I was using various unbranded discs and had 70-80% sucessful burns using my Pioneer 106D burner, these discs I am acheiving 98% sucess (1 disc didnt work). so in conclusion 'good for me'.

Have used two spindles of these discs and only had one failure. I have also used the recordings in numerous DVD players and so far these discs have worked in all players.

Not wishing to contradict the last reveiwer but blank media success is all about compatibility. What works for someone doesn't always work for another. I have used 75 of these with 100% success on my 3 drives. It's always a case of suck it and see and when you find one that works for you, stick too it rather than look for something cheaper still, IMHO

bought these discs after using datawrite red disc so thought they would be ok.WRONG!! these discs were next to useless. out of the first ten discs only four worked. out of this 50 spindle only about 25 - 30 have worked. really unhappy about this purchase. I feel ripped off. dont buy these discs whatever you do. if you must buy dvd-r discs find a different manufacturer or buy datawrite red dvd+r discs i have a 100% success rate with those.
