            As a memory stick it does exactly what its meant to do - however the design of the casing isn't so good. After only a couple of months of use the lid became very lose and I have subsequently lost it!

            So from a functional point of view its fine - but from a design point of view it's rubbish - and I guess the same goes for all those in the same design!!!

            I BOUGHT THIS 8GB DRIVE LAST WEEK AND IT'S GREAT, IT'S USER FRIENDLY AND GREAT VALUE TOO, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

            I already have 2 of the 4Gb Bytestor Drives which have been faultless so when I saw that they now do an 8Gb (this product has only been available since August so I am confused by the previous reviewer who claims to have had his since Dec '05!), I snapped one up. The drive has space a plenty for my files and performance is spot on.

            This drive has worked well for me since I bought it on 9 dec 2005. However, within the last few days, it regularly tells me it's only going to operate at USB 1.0 speed. In case it was the fault of my PC, I've tried the drive in the USB 2.0 enables ports of PCs at work and the fault recurs.

            Bytestor have failed to respond to both my emails, so I don't know how one can gain any value from their fictional two year warranty.
