I recently purchased this card to go with my Vivitar Vivicam V6320 digital camera and have had no problems at all. It simply plugs in to the camera and you are away. It is also very easy to copy pictures to your computer, No installation of software is needed, just plug in and download. 1gb is a lot of space for someone who purely takes pictures on certain occasions (holidays, parties etc..) like myself
So all in all i am very pleased with the product and would recommend to anyone looking for a card for their camera

MLC (Multi-Level Cell) sd cards are considered to be a bit slower than normal SD cards. But until otherwise you are using sophisticated electronics, the speed doesn't matter. I recommend this card to be used in almost all daily electroncis.

Works fine, no problems in the 6 months I've had it. If you are looking to do professional work or snap a lot of photos in short amount of time you will need to spend a bit more because it doesn't seem to write to the disk particularly quickly (at least not on my Canon Powershot). Very good value for money though.

Bought this SD card for my Canon IXUS 55 camera based on the reviews and how good it was said to be. In its early life I would strongly agree. It was quick to write the information, it stored the images well and was great for the price. 5 months down the line and after a fair amount of use the problems have started. It now seems to lock, distort images and comes up with a message saying that the data is currupt. This would include new shots as well as previous shots that were ok before but now are no longer assesable. I can't trust it, so feel forced to buy another card which I can be safe in saying will not be a ByteStor. I guess the solution is to always have a spare whatever the make and best that they are different makes too.

The price of the memory cards on Amazon are amazing compared to the prices on the high street. I ordered the card yesterday morning and received it with this morning post. I don't know much about the quality of memory cards having just acquired my first digital camera (bought on the high street at a much higher price!!). I did not want to pay £50 for a 512MB memory card if I could get one for under £20. I tried the card as soon as I got it and it got stuck in my camera although I know it's the right card for it. I got a 'memory card error' message. I managed to dislodge it without force and without damaging my camera. I am sending back the memory card today and I will (unfortunately) be buying a card on the high street!

I bought this from Amazon for my Nav-cam 7000 as it only had a 250mb card in, the speed was a vast difference, all files copied easy on to it, would highly recomend this to any one who wants speed and reliability, also use one for my digital camera good buy and cheapest I could find, speedy delivery as well, keep up the good work Amazon

A very good purchase........2006-04-20
I recently entered into the world of digital photography. I purchased this card for my Kodak C360 digital camera as the lack of storage in such devices was a reoccuring gripe amongst users.
My needs were simple, large storage, ease of use and reliability. This card met all criteria with flying colours. On 5mp setting I can store 315 pictures and almost 30mins on Video mode.
Speed never came into it until I went to a football match and I had to take pictures of the Arsenal team alighting from their bus for my son and thats were this card really proved it's worth. Digital cameras usually take a while to process and store pictures on to the cards and on this occasion timing was crucial. There is nothing more frustrating than getting into position and waiting for the camera to "process" the last picture. The speed of the card determines this and I'm glad I bought this card. It was a fluke I must say as my knowledge on SD cards is very much at the budding stage.
Playing back clips on Video (from camera direct to TV)is seamless too. Reading previous reviews I know not all SD cards are this good. I have been spoilt by it's high performance. My only gripe... I wish I bought the 1GB card which I will but I don't have an immediate need now.

Sometimes SD cards can be a bit ifie but ive never had a problem with bytestar ones and this particular one works fine in my Nokia 6233
