Save your money, buy the standard version........2005-07-22
This card works fine, but it's no faster in typical use than the standard Kingston 1GB card that I also own - most cameras (even fairly expensive digital SLRs) can't write at this card's theoretical speed. I've tested it with a Canon EOS 20D and the write speed is exactly the same as for the standard card.

Had the card 18 months and it is now corrupted an neither my Mac nor my D70 can read the images that are on the card and which I was able to view after taking them. NOT Impressed.
Works with Fostex MR-8.......2006-02-14
Thanks to the reviewer below for comments re Fostex MR-8 - the card also works fine in my MR-8. Can't speak for relative performance as there appears to be very few cards available ex-Japan that actually work in this machine!
quick and cheap functional.......2006-01-20
Brought this for a Canon EOS 350, Does the job, retrieval of pics is quick. Can't comment on any other equipment as the Camera is the only equipment with which i've used it. Still pretty cheap stores plenty of photos. I mean how exciting can a CF card get!!!!

My thanks for taking the trouble to say the card worked with your MR-8. It gave me the confidence to go ahead and buy the card for the same recorder, and indeed it works fine. I will probably buy one or two more in due course.
Works with the Fostex MR-8........2005-06-08
I bought this CF card for my Fostex MR-8. I've noticed that nobody has said anything about this product working with anything other than digital cameras, and I myself was not sure weather it would be alright with my digital multitracker. So, for anybody considering this product for use with the Fostex MR-8 Digital Multitracker, it works fine.
