This card works fine, but if you do decide to buy it check that the label is on the right way. Mine was placed on the wrong side and being as this was my first compact flash card I didnt know better. I'm lucky my new £400 camera didnt break in removing it.
So by all means buy this as it works fine, just be weary and double check the label before you insert it.

It does what it says on the label and is fast.
BUT why £4-50 postage for something which weighs less than 100 grams and can be posted by 1st class mail?
Amazon should be selling these alongside the cameras it loves to sell for zero postage; not leaving customers to buy from an independent with extra postage charges.

This card will do everything that you need at speed!!
Don't bother with some lower priced non-branded makes, you get what you pay for and at less than [...] you can't moan. It works out cheaper to buy two of these than a 2GB card. Don't know why but it does.

Memory cards are just memory cards, right?
Well, that's usually true: you stick them in the camera and they work. So why buy this?
The first thing I noticed with this new card is how quickly I can delete all the files on my Canon 400D: just a couple of seconds. It works well on continuous shooting, as you'd expect, but more noticable is how fast it is when in my card reader. I can access photos from the card reader almost like they were on the hard disk.
And of course, being Sandisk, you can trust that it'll keep on working. I have several cameras, all with Sandisk cards and they've never let me down.
Performance and Quality.......2006-06-19
I bought this unit to use with a Canon EOS-350D and what a pairing they make! The Canon came with a free standard Sandisk Compat Flash card which performed pretty well. However, on moving to the Extreme III the speed of writing and transferring images tripled. At the time, this card as an extra seemed expensive, now though I think it was excellent value. The Canon can run as fast as it can and the Extreme III allows it to perform at its very best.
As with most products the world over you get what you pay for, and with the Extreme III you most certainly do.

Limited life - beware.......2007-10-06
As many people have written about this manufacturers products (see 256mb card), my experience was the same - worked fine for around 1 year then completely failed. Nothing will even recognise the card. I lost a weeks worth of pictures on my recent holiday to Australia - very frustrating.
