Poor visability.......2007-11-22
I received this as a gift after doing much research thought it a good buy. However, I find it very difficult to actually view what I am taking a picture of. On holiday recently I took lots of photos for friends on their cameras which only further highlighted what an enormous problem this is. As there is no view finder its a case of hoping for the best. Putting that aside the picture quality is relatively good, but again no comparison to others'. I am getting a new camera for christmas and will do much more research into it, maybe I will go for one of the Canon ones as I have used these and found them very intuitive.
Olympus mju 750.......2007-06-10
I found this camera fine for use indoors, or on dull days outside. However, when used in sunny conditions, the LCD screen is not bright enough to view the scene being photographed. I tried adjusting the brightness, and using an LCD hood, but to no avail.
This appears to be a serious limitation on a camera that is not cheap.
Great camera.......2007-04-20
Technically, this is a great easy to use camera. The zoom is a great feature on such a small camera. A handy feature is the easily accesible flash options for various light settings. One design fault though - it's very difficult to line up a picture looking at the screen in bright sunshine. I would have thought that something so basic as that would've been taken care of by Olympus as this is not a cheap camera & they're hardly a new camera company.
Overall this was a good buy & the above is the only problem I've encountered.

It's OK-Good, but far from great.......2007-11-30
In essence this is a good product it does all the things it says on the box, but there is a but:
1. Battery Life: 1 and a half batteries a day. I use this phone for work and there is no way you can get through a full day with one battery, so you will have to have 2.
2. It takes too long to connect a call, when someone rings, it takes 4 rings at their end before it rings the phone before (we've tested), so people that don't know your phone does this often disconnect, with the blue tooth you can add another ring.
3. I use the Bluetooth in the car (audi)to connect to the handsfree, I have had to turn it off as the phone continually connects and disconnect. With a colleagues Nokia, it stays connected.
4. Had the Treo 650 with Palm OS before and it never crashed, the 750 falls over the moment you start to work at any speed or multitask it.
The usability of the Treo is very good, the whole thing can be operated with your thumb. I am a treo believer, I had the 650 (Which was brilliant), but had to swap as work needed me to have Windows. The new 750 isn't a patch on the 650.
What really bites is that Palm give you 1 call to Technical support if you need help, after that you are paying for technical support, which is ridiculous. If I am asking 'How to use it' well that's fair, but to charge me to tell them it doesn't work is disgusting.
So I love Treo, but this isn't as good as it could and should be.

Very dissapointing. The OS freezes, recycles and the interface is weak. A regretable purchase.
The vendor has replaced it twice to no avail. Good-bye Palm.
Technical glitches.......2007-10-23
I liked the functionality but it had battery problems. It would suddenly drain - despite being fully charged - over say 3 hours. Even a new battery didn't help. In addition it often crashed and finally died completely after 4 months.Looking at the other reviews maybe I was just unlucky.
Good PDA, shame about the phone.......2007-05-04
What do you want from this device is the question - as a PDA it works very well, is generally robust and has good features. As a phone it's a pain in the neck ,extremely flaky, doens't have very good reception ability, has extremely unintuitive commands. The key lock command is cumbersome, and short of actually having a digital lock on it you'll find it manages to make unintentional calls. It's a shame because they have had the thought to put a switch on the top to turn ring off / mute on, which is handy, and a similar key lock would have been useful. As a footnote if you do buy one the start up screen is misleading - when it says "Tap" it means "press and hold", without which it won't do a thing! A minor irritation but not very good when it's the first thing you see and in a sense typifies the whole - very good in many ways but let down by practical operability issues, and to me seems like it was released a couple of moths too early without proper testing on non Palm users.
Great phone.......2007-04-21
I have just switched back to a Treo phone after a couple of year away with a Sony Ericsson P910 (big mistake and a pretty hopeless phone/PDA IMO). I now know why I liked Palms/Treos. It is just simplicity itself to set up and use. I was a bit wary about using Windows Mobile having enjoyed the Palm OS in the past but after a few days with the phone those fears are totally allayed. I have it running on push e-mail from exchange server, synchronisation with Outlook Exchange calendars, contact list etc is seamless and the web browsing is fast. It connected first time to my bluetooth handsfree in the car, my bluetooth headset and with the installation of a plug in from the installation CD, to my laptop via bluetooth. I don't know why I ever went away from Treo/Palm. A PDA company seems to make a much better job of adding a phone to their PDA than a phone company does of adding a PDA to their phones.
